I was struck by the refined and inventive cuisine of Carré Royal. This impression was confirmed during our second visit. The chef highlights beautiful products, the plate is superb. Excellent cheeses and very fine desserts. A beautiful wine list and wise advice: the owners have selected the wines carefully and know how to talk about them. The welcome is warm, as is the setting. A very nice address in Lyon to absolutely discover!

Always so well received at Carré Royal. Dorothée always at the service with a smile and good advice to help you in your choices. Albéric in the kitchen who cooks his specialties for you with all simplicity. In short, a superb semi-gastronomic restaurant which has nothing to envy of the famous art restaurant on the side (Mère Brasier).

Food was excellent. Wine was great. Limited menu but that’s a good thing when what’s done is done to such a high level. Will return if Lyon again

01/04/2024: I celebrated my birthday at Briey! It was great ! No complaints. Boss and boss at the top and welcoming. The kitchen is very good. Everything is excellent. If you are looking for a warm and human place with quality cuisine, go for it!

22/03/2024: Top lunch from appetizers to coffee. Good quality of products. Sublimated tastes. Matthieu dazzles us with his constantly changing cuisine in accordance with the seasons. A well-deserved first star.
22/03/2024: A very pleasant and super cool chef. A plate that cannot make you happy. Lunch prices that will make you think a lot about finding the best value for money. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back! Congratulations on this star that fell into the right pot.
