We had a fantastic male server that was full of energy, incredibly kind and attentive to the table and really made the evening to see someone so smiley on the floor. Overall some of the best service we’ve had in Nice.

I highly recommend this place! The service is excellent, the dishes are very delicious, the wine selection is very interesting. What I liked most is the presence of the chef and owner in every detail from the kitchen to the living room, congratulations!

Excellent gastronomic bistro in Nice! I loved it ! At Mallards, it represents a bit of everything I like when I go to a restaurant: REAL homemade food, affordable prices and; food made and served by passionate people who are driven by the desire to do things well. Here, it's the owner and the chef who come to serve to find out if you liked it, that's a change from restaurants for tourists who focus everything on the decor and not too much on the quality of the dishes... The room is and the atmosphere is cozy , it's nice. I will come back for sure, already one of my favorite addresses in Nice. Everything was good with traditional dishes but which are a little different from the original.

Never disappointed at Mallard, faultless from starter to dessert. Cuisine with local and seasonal products, the menu is renewed quite regularly with a few signature dishes which remain on the menu. A very wide choice of wines to accompany your dish. Guillaume always takes care of his customers. If you haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for?!

Place found by chance on Instagram, pleasantly surprised. Informal environment but everything clean and comfortable. Friendly waiters and available to explain the menu to us. Typical French food therefore very seasoned, a little heavy for my taste but still approved. I'll be back!

06/04/2024: Discovery menu concept that I really appreciate. But the dishes lack surprise, wow. On this kind of proposition we expect the universe of a chef and not just the good ones. And I have a big problem with the appetizer: a glass of “couscous” (semolina/raisin) with an emulsion on top and a carrot top. For what?? It's rubbish and one of the worst entries for a menu of this type. Good meat dish with a strong juice and the rest is decent. Veggie menu for my partner for the evening where the proteins were replaced twice by roasted onion, yeah... Finally wine by the glass: lack of choice and young wine: Croze Hermitage white 2023 & a Pineau noir en Coteaux Bourguignon 2022 (11&12€). I would have liked to have a slightly more sophisticated proposal to accompany the menu or even a wine pairing proposal. In conclusion, I may be too critical but this reflects disappointment in a promise that appealed to me and it turned out to be too dull for my taste.
03/04/2024: Reservation made after the TV report in January 2024. We had lunch there on Easter Day. Very warm welcome from the whole team. The “surprise” dishes were tasty, creative and seasonal. We feasted. Address to discover!

02/04/2024: We didn't have a reservation, the place was completely full and we couldn't come back tomorrow, but she made it possible for us to taste their amazing ducks for the first time , she did everything she could to make sure we have a great experience, The atmosphere is amazing, and the food is the best. I can't wait to go there again. Love you Miam and your husband.
31/03/2024: Haven’t been so full for a while! Superb duck, cozy vibe, lovely owner couple. Come!
