We had dinner at Dessance a couple of weeks ago and it was a great experience overall. It is a beautifully designed, intimate space with only a couple of tables and unlike in other restaurants in the Marais, you don't (literally) rub elbows with your neighbors. Culinarily, there is a bit of room to grow left - the six course vegetarian menu is delicious (and quite a bargain at 69 EUR p.p.) but we felt it was a bit of a shame to start with something fried. The consistency of the celery ravioli also wasn't our cup of tea but these things aside, we were very happy with our meal. Service was outstanding, as is the concept of drinks-upon-recommendation. The pairing I had was spot-on.

The best dining experience I’ve ever had. The terre et mer tasting menu was top notch. No flavour overpowers the other, they just complement each other so well. Absolutely delicious!

It was flawless for us, a daring, sophisticated and refined experience! We have just praised it to those around us, and strongly recommend that you discover it. The menu changes every six weeks so we can’t wait to come back!
