We came across this restaurant by chance....and chance really did things well.
Both for the welcome and for the cuisine I give 5 stars.
The fish: semi-cooked tuna and hake fillets are a real delight...the cuisine is simple, sophisticated, harmonious, the seasonings perfect...in short, praise for this unmissable address.
The prices are perfectly reasonable for cuisine worthy of the name and with fresh, quality products.
The staff are welcoming, smiling and pleasant.
We will gladly come back.
I recommend this address which aims to be worthy of a restaurant.

Family dinner for six on the evening of Saturday October 14, on the veranda
Summer did not want to end, the restaurant was almost full
Very good fine cuisine and successfully combining flavors
The atmosphere is cozy without being stuffy
Courteous and efficient service despite a crowd probably unexpected for mid-October
And then, the proximity to the beach of our childhoods, 100 meters away, brought a very special touch.

It's always a pleasure to be able to come to Balaou...our last meal was no exception to the rule...great. the Acras the knives, a treat..small downside (very small) the presentation of the Ganache not pleasant..but delicious..

In the first days of winter, what a pleasure to enter this warm wooden establishment, with a central stove and very nice Vintage/comic book decoration.
Perfect service!
The slate menu is extensive and will suit all tastes.
The cod accras are a must...
