It's a magical place already because of the setting: a beautiful buron (2 corner buildings) made of volcanic stone, placed on a planeze at more than 1000 m. The view there is magnificent. Then the family welcome is very smiling, considerate and simple. The menu choice is impressive and highlights different cuts of beef. The country's cuisine is delicious (charcuterie, pounti, salads, then of course pieces of beef of extreme tenderness and full of flavors..., finally a simple piece of Salers before dessert) We have been coming there for years, since 1999, and we love it.

I, who am almost vegetarian because I very rarely eat meat and even less red meat, my curiosity overtook my stomach and really without regret. I ate a beef steak (well done, don't overdo it....) without leaving anything behind. Incidentally, the cooking requested was respected to perfection. Served with extra shallot butter. The setting is magnificent. A beautiful life-size postcard of the Cantal. The family welcome is also very friendly. To do again without hesitation.

A must for a 100% Cantal experience: bouriol, pounti, truffade, salers...to accompany meat that only had to cross the fence to end up on the plate. The kindness of the family who runs this valley institution is the highlight of the excellent meal we had there. And special mention for Luc’s honey sold on site! We will definitely come back (by booking!)!

Unique experience in this typical buron! The view of the valley and the cows in transhumance, the cuisine and its products of rare and local quality and what can we say about the wise and adorable family team who operate this historic place. We booked and counted 40 - 50€/person (in cash - no network in this remote place) for a nice starter, main course, cheese, dessert + drinks package. Honestly unavoidable. THANKS

Le site est magnifique. Le buron est d'une bonne capacité. Les produits sont excellents notamment le pavé de rumsteck accompagné d'une belle portion de truffade. Je recommande.

Nous avions réservé la veille pour le lendemain par hasard et ayant téléphoné en fin de service nous n'avons rencontré aucun problème de réservation. A notre arrivée hier midi, nous avons découvert un lieu très sympa, tout comme l'accueil. Les plats de l'entrée au dessert étaient excellents et nous ont permis de découvrir une cuisine de terroir préparée avec des produits de qualité. Nous avions consulté les avis qui étaient plus que positifs. Ça vaut 5 étoiles dans sa globalité. Nous avons eu du mal à croire que les personnes qui avaient émis un avis très négatif il y a 2 mois étaient bien venus dans ce buron que nous conseillons vivement. Les bourriols étaient très bons, ainsi que la viande et la truffa de. Nous avons été ravis de cette belle découverte. Merci encore pour votre accueil.
