Frog legs were delicious, so were mussels. My wife enjoyed both, I just tried the frog legs. Delicious! My son had chicken burger, which was average. I ordered veritable boeuf bourguignon, and it was a terrible choice. Will not recommend at all, unless you like fatty cooked beef. Beef was thoroughly cooked, but it had too much fat. And it was just a beef stew with too much fatty beef and, a few carrots in some kind of dark souse. And yes, it came with tasteless and dry bowl of mashed potatoes on the side. Absolutely disliked my meal, and it cost more than the delicious frog legs or the mussels.
We arrived on Sunday at around 19:00, the place was not crowded. There was no entertainment or music program while we had dinner.

I go there from time to time for a drink, the waiters are always very nice and friendly. The decor of the restaurant is great, the covered terrace is great, we are protected from the wind. In terms of food, the burgers are good. Desserts too. It's a little expensive but it's the black cat, an institution.

I give it 5 stars in general, because well, not because the fact that I am used to having more elaborate or heavier things for breakfast does not mean that everything will be bad, you also have to appreciate local food impartially, that is, The person who served us seemed to be the owner, an older man, very very kind (sorry but that is a bit strange coming from Parisians), I speak little French and the little I could tell him he understood us very well and with patience, he Very delicious coffee, simple breakfast but also quite quality bread and the creamy and decadent scrambled egg known from European cuisine.
