A two-Michelin-starred restaurant should have good service
But three very strange things happened today
1. Asked if the bread brioche could be refilled. The first reply was that it was no problem. Then five minutes later, he said that he would check it out, but there was no news after that.
2. After the main course was served and the meal was finished, the waiter came over and asked if he wanted to add sauce, and then said in a joking tone that you can dip it in the bread and eat it.
3. When checking out, you need to pay separately, but you need to sign separately when swiping the card. The waiter waited impatiently, then left the bill on the table, but put away the pen. I asked the waiter if he didn't keep the pen? Later he was given a look and said he would come back again.
There were many Asian waiters, but this was the first time I felt unfriendly to Asians. The French on the road were much nicer to them.
I really don’t recommend coming here to enjoy a Michelin meal

There is a reason why it is a Michelin 2 star. Everyone was friendly and the food was special and delicious. We paired each menu with a matching wine. It was nice to hear explanations from a Korean sommelier, and I felt more at ease because we could communicate in Korean. It was a satisfying meal :)

Michelin two-star French restaurant located near the Champs Elysées! This time I ordered a 7-course set menu ~ the content is very rich, ranging from crab meat, shrimp meat, fish meat to duck liver and so on! The environment in the store is classic and noble, not too gorgeous, but in the style of a traditional French restaurant~
The whole meal is very filling, plus bread, appetizers, desserts, etc. The overall dining experience was great! The only thing I feel I need to adapt to is the meal time...it took a lot of time to eat this meal.
Remember to make a reservation, it is really difficult to make a reservation at Michelin in Paris. It is recommended to check on Michelin’s official website for faster results! If you don’t have a reservation at Michelin, you really can’t eat it…

From our welcome to our departure the team took great care of us. Special attention to the room master that day!
Each plate was an explosion of flavor, with perfect pairings and always impeccable sauces.

Amazing dining experience, definitely deserving of 2 Michelin stars under the new ownership after a storied history. The menu is classic French cuisine but executed extremely well. Our fussy eating teenager was even thoroughly impressed. The wine list is extensive and some well priced excellent wines that went perfectly with the meal. Aperitifs are not really considered and are a little over priced. The desserts are fantastic with an amuse bouche being a chocolate cigar that has actual tobacco leaf in it, truly an iconic dish. The bread and oh my, the house churned butter are sublime. Notably, they are one of only two Michelin star restaurants open in the summer weeks of August, testament to their dedication of building their own reputation under new the owner and Head Chef. The only consideration might be that the service might need a little uplift table side for such an haute cuisine dining experience but it was still warm and convivial.
