Simple and delicious. We had the pesto pasta, rabbit stew, and eggplant appetizer which were all good. The rabbit stew bone broth was rich in flavor. The owner was kind and generous and clearly enjoyed his job. He gave us several varieties of delicious and fruity tasting olive oil with our bread.

One of our favourite places in Nice. Perfect for a long leisurely lunch. The owner services all the tables and provides detailed descriptions of the menu which is quite small but carries great choices including good vegetarian options.
Food is prepared in the open kitchen and everything is beautifully fresh.
As per the name, there is an olive oil to go with every dish - including dessert!
Take some time out of your day, relax and enjoy this wonderful little bistro.

Nous avons découvert cet établissement grâce à des amis qui nous y ont invités. Les assiettes sont bien dressées et les portions très correctes. Le restaurateur nous arrose tous nos plats d huiles d olives différentes et nous fait l article en même temps. Accueil très chaleureux. Une jolie découverte quoique un peu chère à mon humble avis.

Best meal that I had in Nice! This is a really lovely restaurant and olive oil shop in the heart of Old Nice. The restaurant is waited by the owner, who also owns the olive oil business. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about his food. The menu is small and delicious. We had the pesto, aubergine (my favorite) and ragú (which had been cooked for two days). All excellent. Each dish was topped with a different olive oil. The owner also kept us supplied with fresh, warm bread and more olive oil to soak everything up. Come hungry, and with cash (card is not accepted).

Food services stops at 2.30pm !!!!! and I am kicking myself for not knowing this - arrived at 3.30/4pm, soooo excited to try this amazing place ~ don't be like me, get there for LUNCH!!!! This place seems absolutely amazing and looks like high quality ingredients 💚👌🏼

Wow, what an unexpected surprise! Walked into a place that was a kitchen and a few tables. Food was amazing. The owner was a delight and spoiled us with his knowledge of Olive Oils and samples. Very warm and comforting atmosphere. A must go!

Nestled in the heart of Nice’s Old Town, Oliviera is a little gem. If you like delicious, rustic food - with an Italian/French vibe - served by a charming but somewhat eccentric owner - then Oliviera is the place for you. This small restaurant also serves as an olive oil shop - the owner grows and harvests his own. He also prepares the food. I think it must be the unseasonably miserable weather that proved to be the perfect backdrop for a hearty pasta and beef ragu and a fabulous rabbit and pasta broth. Washed down with a great Provencal red. Homemade tiramisu served with a dash of olive oil. Get in! Oliviera doesn’t open in the evenings and you need to pay in cash. Go but don’t go if you are in a rush.

I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing restaurant. The food is incredible, and so full of flavour. The portion sizes are perfect. The venue is cozy and elegant at the same time, and the owner is simply a delight! I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Nice, and will definitely be back anytime I visit. Bon appetit!
