Short menu only in French but the charming staff happily explained. 2 courses 43 euros and 3 is 49 euros. 3 choices of starter, main, dessert and an off-menu starter and main was also offered.
A complimentary small cup of complex broth was followed by slices of a good, crusty bread and they were not afraid of offering the heel, my favourite part (but no butter).
The lobster starter was +15 euros but impressively soft and fresh. All our dishes were complex and delicious. The mains, unusually, as much as the starters,
Courses were free of the long waits between beloved of many french restaurants. One of the best meals of this year, perhaps even several years.

From start to finish a wonderful experience. We were well looked after by our waiting staff who engaged with us beautifully and warmly . Given we couldn't speak french very well this was very nice. The food was superb and faultlessly executed. The best fish cookery i have experienced. Only negative was the noise level of the restaurant as it filled up and the tables were very close. I understand that is a constraint of the size . In summary food and service fantastic . dix a dix !

The gazpacho served before the starter was, ironically, the best part of the meal — probably the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal, instead of ascending, descended with each subsequent course.
The starter was very good and met expectations, with excellent plating. The main course, however, missed the mark. First, it was tepid. Second, the flavors did not complement each other. Rather, one bite had an overwhelming beet taste and the next bite had an overwhelming umeboshi taste.
Sadly, the most disappointing was the dessert because it was the course I was most looking forward to and for which I had the highest expectations. I love wasabi ice cream/gelato/glace, but it’s understandably not too commonly found. While the flavor was nearly perfect, perhaps could have used a bit more zip, the “glace” melted into a soup within moments of reaching my table. I suspect the temperature at which the ice cream is stored is far too high, like double-digits too high. I personally believe gelato should be served at a temperature no higher than 15°. By the time it reached my table, it had to have been nearing 30°.

Wonderful place to dine in Paris - the service was welcoming and accommodated my two teen daughters despite their inexperience in fine dining. The menu was surprising and the combinations masterful. We had an amazing evening.
