I know of another restaurant at the same price where the welcome is better and the portions are more generous. And tea is offered. It's not correct at all, I won't come to your place anymore, sorry, although I know your restaurant, you shouldn't see customers like pigeons. And your sodas in cans are not at this price, they are in bottles normally I don't come back to your place and what's more I think your smile is not sincere I am not a tourist ma'am learn not to talk about money a customer at a meal

30/03/2024: In this ultra-touristy area where restaurants abound, it is sometimes difficult to make a choice. Guided by a tout on the steps of the establishment, we let ourselves be tempted. That's good, we're hungry, it's 2 p.m. and the restaurant provides continuous service! A pleasant restaurant, quiet at this time. Smiling welcome. we quickly take our order. The egg brick is generous (a change from the mini-things served elsewhere). The merguez-skewer couscous that follows is excellent. Semolina, meats and vegetables served separately. Cinnamon oranges for dessert refresh the whole thing. Note to the cook: the scoop of ice cream with the oranges is unnecessary. In summary: a good establishment which manages to maintain quality cuisine and service. To recommend.

02/04/2024: Wonderful Senegalese food! The ambiance is cosy and very friendly. The owner and her niece were lovely to us and entertained our baby while we ate. One of my favourite dining experiences in Paris.

It's simple: this restaurant is quite simply the best establishment I have seen in more than 20 years in Paris. The food is simple, good, plentiful and at a fair price. The rice is some of the best I've eaten and the chicken is tender enough to make an angel blush. Everything, right down to the water, is a little marvel, including the music paying homage to the greatest jazz musicians of this century. However. Attention. Make no mistake: you are not in just any place. Here there is no sophisticated stationery on the wall, no silk armchairs, no ebony coat racks or even glass windows. It is also likely that if you want to eat on the ground you will come out with some exotic diseases. But what's the point of all these trinkets??! Here you are at home. Even if your family tree doesn't take root at the intersection of the Greenwich meridian and the equator, you will feel at home, covered in love and flavor. Served by a deeply kind and helpful man. Who will undoubtedly make you regret that he is not your father because you would like to eat there again once you return. But I must warn you one last time. Alberto is a man who doesn't joke with food and especially with quantities, if you don't have the volume space necessary to accommodate his flavors, you might very well regret not being able to enjoy more. As for the most courageous and reckless, there is a more dangerous option: hot sauce. Sensitive taste buds refrain. In which case you will understand why this place is nicknamed among connoisseurs "COME IF YOU ARE MEN".

15/03/2024: Really poor couscous, semolina, side dishes, meats, sauce, everything is bland and smells like it was reheated from non-fresh products. Cold and authoritarian welcome and service, austere atmosphere. Ultimately poor value for money. My worst experience in a Couscous restaurant in Paris and Versailles combined.

28/02/2024: Go through the restaurant door and you will be transported. Sharing will be the key word of your meal which in addition to being good will be inexpensive. Such tasty, tasty, spicy dishes, kindness during service and very appreciable little bonuses. We really fell in love with the coffee preparation ceremony which ends the trip. Thank you for transporting us out of time for an evening.

31/03/2024: it was 10 years ago when I have enjoyed Ethiopean injera last time at Africa (Kigali, at that time)... Thanks for owner's good hospitality & good preparation of food, which reminded me of my beautiful travel to Africa!

05/04/2024: Not disappointed with this restaurant! Welcoming staff and very good tagine! I took one star off the kitchen because the Chorba was a little too diluted for my taste, otherwise everything is great, I recommend.

01/04/2024: Already we arrive at 8 p.m. me and my friend, we try to order but the waiter attacks us by telling you to arrive and wait, in short after waiting an hour the chorba arrived, I ordered a meat brick I had a tuna brick! We ordered a lamb mechoui with French fries but we got fries and when I asked the waiter shouted at me "that's the only thing" he didn't even tell me didn't ask my opinion if I want fries or not. The waiter was alone serving 50 people, we couldn't even get a carafe of water! Anyway, the next day I got food poisoning. Otherwise the decoration is beautiful. Remember to change your knives they do everything except cut.

06/04/2024: Our expectations were high after reading all the positive reviews about this restaurant. We had a reservation for 10pm. Since our table was not ready yet, we had to take a seat at the bar. After 20 minutes we could go to our table. It wasn't until 10:30 PM that someone came to ask what we wanted to order. After waiting for a while, we saw that our drinks were ready at the bar, but no one took the initiative to bring them. After we spoke to the waiter again, we received our drinks and food at 10:45 PM. Food was okay, nothing more. Cocktails also but average. Have had much better drinks for less money. A positive point, the decoration and setting is top notch. This restaurant is really overrated and did not meet our expectations at all.

03/04/2024: Very good for a drink because the place is magnificent... The restaurant is not up to standard: not very good, not very well served, rather expensive... and very noisy :(

05/04/2024: Never again, it's the first time I've tried it but I will never do it again! 0.60€ for not even two drops of sauce, mini portion of rice! The food nothing special! Bad experience

03/04/2024: First time tasting foufou, I really liked it! The cod acras were also really good. Good welcome and service overall, I recommend.
