28/10/2023: Magnificent view of the lake, delicious food, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. In short, one of the best restaurants we have been to. (Visited in early September)
24/10/2023: We wanted to have lunch in this restaurant which seemed to have a good reputation. So we tried to call 3 times to reserve a table…no answer. We left a voicemail, no return. When in doubt, we still went there...the restaurant was closed even though the Google page indicated that it was open.
Neither poster nor anything on the front to warn that the restaurant was closed (annual closure, exceptional closure? No idea)

We stopped here for something to eat before we went back to the campsite. Never again. We saw a sign 'Gault Milliau 2023' so we thought this was a good choice, but not. We ordered ribs and it came with something made of meat with a lot of fat and fat chunks that would break your teeth. Meat was also not warm. The fries were the best part of the dish. But of course €19 is a lot of money for that.
The service was also fast and not friendly.
05/04/2024: After hearing about the change of ownership, we decided to try Le Comptoir again, we had a great time! The stuffings were homemade and delicious, the Manosque steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were homemade. And that’s without counting on the team who are very friendly, and finally, the view: splendid!!
If you want to eat local, fresh and in a setting that puts you straight into the vacation, I recommend!

01/10/2023: Nice little sandwich shack located at the bank of the lake. Beautiful view. Sandwiches were fresh and good but not out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, the person at the counter was very rude and we did not feel welcomed. We asked politely, if he spoke English. He refused but answered in one syllable English words anyway - mostly "no!". We asked if we could have a panini without lettuce and tomato for a child. Again he refused in a very impolite way. One should think it was easier not adding the ingredients than for us to pick them out.
If we had felt welcomed, we would have awarded 4 stars.
30/08/2023: Very warm welcome, the rental of the electric boat was perfect, nothing to complain about. We ate their salads and their hamburgers, it’s very good and very generous, thanks to the Le Petit Port team.
