The waitress has a smile all the time, takes great care with her customers, the homemade dishes offered, the prices are more than reasonable... Go there with your eyes closed

So super well-ranked restaurant, good welcome, responsive and attentive staff, beautiful menu menu and varied according to budgets, so Excellent meal, very well cooked and very well presented for those who are in the area, a must-see restaurant, 2 small downsides, watch out for insects that may return at the same time as the customers and for the bill we left (10 people) a little Dijo would have been welcome but really great

26/03/2024: We went there with my partner without knowing anything. Address found using Google. Since Tautavel is a village that I love for its natural setting, we decided on this restaurant. I apparently did well to book because several customers were turned away because they were full on a Sunday lunchtime. Victim of his own success. The room is charming and decorated in an original way. The terrace looked nice. The cuisine is excellent and the service very pleasant. The only downside is the lack of transparency on prices. Taking orders on the fly for the aperitif (without a card and therefore without a price), the same for wine, coffee and the aioli supplement (perhaps free... or not?!). When paying the bill, no details were offered and I didn't think to ask for it in the conversation either. So the two of us got it for €110 without knowing the details. Apart from this detail I recommend this charming restaurant

31/03/2024: Very nice discovery. This restaurant was recommended to us for eating the best octopus. Well what a delight cooked to perfection and with great tenderness and the homemade mash is truly delicious. We also had the anchovies in oil and the plate of mussels and scallops gratinated with garlic. Also delicious. The waiter's welcome is very pleasant, he listens and is very kind. The chef comes to the terrace to know our impressions and gives you ideas for walks. Really what a great time we had here. 'Don't hesitate to come.

25/03/2024: Fred has changed her menu to include smaller dishes which gave us the opportunity to taste more of her unique and wonderful food. Where other local restaurants are mainly Catalan in their approach Fred creates a delicious and interesting fusion of various flavours and ingredients. She is a very talented chef who is passionate about pleasing her guests. . Her restaurant is an experience.. not only culinary but also to share time with her vibrant and engaging personalty. It’s an evening of fun and atmosphere where every morsal you taste is exceptional. Le Trencadis never disappoints.
