24/03/2024: By far my favorite Amiens restaurant. Eating at Querelle means entering the inimitable world of Yann and Hervé. The menu of dishes to share (or not) is tight (always a good sign) and changes regularly. If you are lucky enough to have him there on the day of your visit, you MUST have a banoffee. The chocolate mousse, served directly from the soup tureen, is also to die for. I don't remember a disappointing dish, by the way. The service is a little long, it’s true. Perhaps because your hosts for the evening take the time to chat with their guests? It’s the best way to enjoy an evening in a magical world. Allow around fifty euros per head if you take wine. But clearly, you are not being robbed: Querelle is worth them!

The tiny pot of mayo costs €0.50 and the small Strasbourg sausage, alone without fries, costs €2.50! The boss dares to tell me that in 2024 everything has to be paid for When will you pay for ice cubes in a glass of water? Dear Sir, take advantage of the 50 cents to wash on the ground, it was a real pigsty! To avoid !

On the savory plate, the lamb and date samosas are killer, the haddock is delicious, the egg and the pancake too... 06/02/2024: After a walk around Villers Brettoneux this cafe came into view. The Kangaroos on the sign were an added bonus. It is great food and friendly service. We enjoyed our meal ! Highly recommend for the hungry tourist on the Aussie Digger trail or anyone for that matter

12/01/2024: I shared a meal with my colleagues to celebrate the start of the Christmas holidays, and I was definitely not disappointed! The taste took me back to my childhood memories. If only I had a driver's license, I would be there every week. It's so delicious that I almost have to roll myself outside after each visit.
