Caring staff, very smiling and a warm atmosphere 😊
Aperitif: Homemade Mojito and Gin Cocktail/pear juice and chestnut cream.
Starter: Sorcin snail in landscape fricassee and bacon siphon.
Dishes: French scallops, Nantaise sauce, chives/lemon with creamy carrot puree and beef tartare prepared with farm goat's cheese and enoki (not taken in photo).
Dessert: Like a lemon and yuzu tart.
All a real delight, an incredible discovery 😍
We did not know this restaurant and we absolutely do not regret our visit, we will come back with great pleasure! 😁

The welcome was very pleasant, the interior renovation is neat and warm without being flashy. The choice of menu is not very varied but my parents and I were able to test a good range of what they offer and the quality is there. Each dish was copious without being excessive, the cooking was excellent, the mixture of flavors surprised us in each dish (for example: the port sauce with the brioche sausage or the lemon/spinach sauce with a side of pork or even the 4-spice cheesecake dessert is simply delicious)
The price is reasonably high: around €35-40/per person for a full meal but it is well worth it.
For my part, I consider this restaurant to be one of the best addresses in Poitiers at the moment

05/04/2024: I have been a customer of the Buffalo since childhood. It's a place that transports me to the wild west, where you can have a tattooed waitress and listen to country music (country music for non-English speakers). If you're nice, sometimes the boss can play you a little banjo tune (ask him "Wayfaring strangers", he plays it with crazy flat-picking). Sometimes they organize outdoor rodeos on wooden horses, a distraction that appeals to young and old (at least cheaper than the pirate ship at the funfair). Clearly, for thirty euros, you eat well. For a discount, don't forget the password at the entrance: "Buffalo, I've got you covered!!".
03/04/2024: I absolutely do not recommend! Fake food on the plates. Hygiene standards not respected.

03/04/2024: To avoid, we ordered a beef tartare and the surprise butcher-style minced steak
therefore must be cooked through as it is a frozen product.
The manager told me that there was no apology. He doesn't know about HACCP and even less about e.colie.
In any case for a so-called fresh beef restaurant. We are far from the mark.
For me, they are poisoners. The veterinary services should take a look as well as the fraud department for lying to their customers.
