18/03/2024: Had a couple of lovely meals here during our stay: a great value set three course lunch, and a delicious Czech-based dinner (the theme is different every week). Eva and Cedric were very friendly and gracious: I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

03/03/2024: A warm welcome on a cold night! Eva is simply a superb chef. Putting together a new set menu each day, exploring local seasonal ingredients, in elegant dishes which also integrate her and her husband's experiences travelling the world. They both speak excellent English too, which gave my tortured French a relaxing night off. We're going back next week.

04/04/2024: Small structure but huge potential: I loved my stay in this hotel! The +: affordable price considering the quality of my room, which is very modern and spacious (comfort room), the receptionist who welcomed me is very friendly and kind, the bedding is of good quality and the sheets + pillows are so soft that you sleep like in a cloud 🤩, the bathroom with a large bathtub, the electric shutters on the window which guarantee total darkness and the location (at the entrance to Salers and overlooking the pedestrian streets , in 2/3 minutes on foot you are in the center of Salers). The least: the noise 😔 which woke me up from my lie-in 😂. From my bed, I could hear the noises of the cleaning ladies (I think) who were working upstairs but I had the impression that they were in my room because the noise was so poorly soundproofed. But that's just a detail, my stay was perfect so the hotel still deserves 5* from me and I think it deserves to be upgraded to 4* given the quality of the services! I did not try the restaurant (although the dishes seem very high quality), the breakfast (but the description in the welcome booklet suggested that it is copious), the spa (I I forgot my swimsuit) and the outdoor swimming pool (closed in winter, logical ^^).

03/04/2024: We had a great Easter weekend. The staff is top notch. The room was just very pretty. The hotel is tastefully decorated. The Spa is very pleasant. The meals are delicious! Just one small negative point: the acceptance of dogs in the restaurant room.

28/02/2024: Warm atmosphere, welcoming staff. The pancakes are succulent. The raclette/bacon pancake is very good, but being (naturally) salty it is better to have salad with it. “Too bad” that this is extra and not automatically associated with each pancake, or at least the fattest ones. The salad is good. The apple and caramel galette (dessert) is delicious. I recommend this restaurant.

22/01/2024: The setting is a little outdated, but the cuisine is worth the detour. The welcome is warm and the service matches the quality of the dishes. The latter are tasty, and their presentation is particularly careful. The suggested food and wine pairings are judicious, without necessarily directing you towards the most expensive products. In the end, the quality/price ratio is excellent.

04/04/2024: Menu with local dishes advertised as homemade, friendly waiter with good advice, prices a little high but the quality is there: I had a good time! I had a piece of beef from the moment with patranque (stale bread, cheese and garlic), I loved it! The Salers beef is actually marbled, it was surprising but delicious!

02/04/2024: We arrived Saturday noon at 9 plus a super welcome baby who came back the next day just for a drink at 11:15 a.m. and a great welcome thank you I recommend very good food. Helpful and smiling staff and boss.
