05/04/2024: Located in a village and in a tastefully renovated building, we were welcomed with a smile and kindness from the staff. For a table of 7 guests, the dishes were brought at the same time by two waitresses so that everyone could eat hot at the same time, and we were not the only ones in the restaurant or on the terrace. When the plates arrived, the pleasure for the eyes matched the tasting of the dishes, cooked while respecting the quality of the products and the requests of customers. A quality/price ratio that is worth the detour. Thank you to the entire Estaminet team for this gastronomic discovery and for the service always provided with discretion and a smile. Even though it's far away, we hope to come back.

05/04/2024: This is an atypical hotel which has a lot of charm and which is less than 15 minutes by car from the city center of Angoulême. Room renovated recently. Practical, functional but a little narrow for my taste. The room has good bedding and the decor is pleasant. Friendly staff and the infrastructure is really good (Spa, swimming pool and gym) I only give 4 stars because the breakfast deserves to be more extensive. A great address if you have to go through Angoulême.

05/04/2024: Very good meal as usual. My friend “regretted” the absence of an egg in the Easter pâté (a childhood memory) but was quickly reassured from the first bite of the fork and satisfied by all the dishes offered. Matthieu can be proud of his cuisine and his team.

05/04/2024: Absolutely irresistible! Table outside at the beginning of April: idyllic, wooded setting, river a few meters from the table. Let's move on to more serious matters, the cuisine: a delight, of incredible finesse, the definition of indulgence, a harmony of flavors and textures. Duck breast has never seemed so delicious to me. The variation of chocolate will make my future desserts seem very bland... Discreet and very efficient service, master sommelier with very good advice, very professional: thank you!!!

15/03/2024: It's increasingly difficult to eat well on set without feeling like you're being ripped off and I'm delighted to discover this address. We were very well received by the waitresses who seated us upstairs at a small table overlooking the kitchen through a pretty aquarium. I took the kidneys as a starter, Madame took the egg and we both took the sweetbreads as a main course on a menu that was varied enough without being extensive. We had a blast. The kidneys were delicious, perfectly seared and just pink to the core with small vegetables and a superb sauce. For those who have reservations, don't hesitate to try them, they were super good with a really light offal taste. It's not easy to treat this kind of product so well. Madame also seemed very happy with her fried soft-boiled egg which seemed perfectly cooked (again, it's not easy) Concerning the meunière sweetbreads, it was also really very good. A very hearty plate with nice pieces that are very crispy on the outside while remaining tender. A little sauce and a medley of varied fresh vegetables very well cooked. We didn't have desserts but what came out of the kitchen looked great. Well done and thank you to the kitchen team as well as the waitresses who were very pleasant and efficient. We see that there are people who know their job and who do it well. In total we got €106 with 2 aperitifs, 2 glasses of wine, 2 starters and 2 main courses. It is very reasonable given the location, the quality of the products and the quantities on the plate.

The dishes were absolutely delicious, the chef's Rossini-style tournedos was a real delight, I hadn't eaten so well in a while. The desserts were also sumptuous, truly flawless from starter to dessert! We had the pleasure of chatting with the team and the chef at the end of the meal and the experience was really just perfect, thank you very much.

04/03/2024: Meal yesterday noon, Sunday March 3, 2024. First time for me. A modern and spacious setting, the park must be superb in the summer months. The menu is varied and surprising in terms of pairings. Excellent meal. Very refined. The service, very discreet at the same time but very attentive and attentive. 29/03/2024: Excellent meal in this small beautifully family run restraunt, its a set menu changed daily, conveniently the menu for the following week is posted on their facebook page which is updated daily. The food is delightful, as is the restraunt and overall experiance and excellent value for the quality of the food. Booking recomended and patricia speaks excellent english
