The name obviously attracts and we hit it off really well!!
Excellent welcome (especially given the growing queue), the meal is generous, really good steak and fresh bread, fatty and hot fries, in short a pleasure in this cold 🥰
NB: really sorry to learn of your closure, it's really a go-to in Sarlat

06/04/2024: Very nice discovery of this bistronomic restaurant in old Sarlat. Away away, so rather quiet terrace. We recommend the menu, without foie gras and especially its pea hummus, egg and buckwheat waffle. A turie😊

04/04/2024: This is the first time I went to this unusual place and I admit I had a great time. Everything is there ! Welcome, atmosphere, simplicity and cuisine that will tickle your taste buds. I recommend this place.
26/03/2024: All the dishes are cheese based and are delicious. The owners are very kind and welcoming. It's my favorite little restaurant. I recommend without hesitation!

01/04/2024: A fantastic site. Super recommended. They have charcuterie boards with very good quality baked cheeses. I ordered the Tartiflette and I have to say that it is one of the best I have ever tried. We went twice because we loved it. Lovely staff. I recommend booking because it fills up. Some different gastronomy within Sarlat.

13/12/2023: Crepes with a difference. Coincidence brought us to this restaurant a few hundred meters outside the tourist area of Sarlat, which serves Dutch pancakes instead of the traditional Breton pancakes. What was offered was convincing and was served quickly. The homemade Dutch Poffertjes, small, sweet mini pancakes, which are offered in different variations, were the icing on the cake, the version with chocolate sauce was a dream.
06/12/2023: I really like this restaurant, I've been there about fifteen times and I'm still happy with it! I always take a crepe with smoked brisket, it's a real treat. For dessert I always have their poffertjes which are one of their specialties, it's very good too. The setting is nice, you can eat on the terrace in summer and in winter it's well heated, with great music in the background, the staff is also very pleasant, I recommend 100%!!

03/04/2024: Good welcome and pleasant service. A very correct lunch menu and good value for money. Too bad, the only downside is that the pizza maker who systematically places his palette in the oven on the ground wherever he walks, not great for hygiene (shoe soles and eating tools do not go well together).

A restaurant in Sarlat that is not a tourist trap is nice!

05/04/2024: We went to dinner last Wednesday evening for the first time at the Hôtel Dieu restaurant, invited by our son and daughter-in-law. We had a pleasant evening, excellent food... I was reconciled with Paris-Brest, 😉 I was not a big fan of this cake. Top service and we were able to exchange a few words with the chef, who offered us an aperitif.
Well done 👍!
01/04/2024: It's also very good to put your opinion on social networks, but it must be fair. Accepting a remark is not degrading even if it touches pride. You can't be on top of everything. Being humble points out that we can also be wrong, it's not so serious, it's progress.
I came it was good and good, I gave you three stars, I hope that on my next visit I could give you five stars.

30/03/2024: Well received when entering the restaurant at 11:40 a.m. to get a table for lunch, super good meal, it doesn't drag on between courses with three waitresses for the terrace, the floor and the room.
We will come back.

04/04/2024: I had lunch yesterday in this establishment, I had already been there two years ago. Nothing to say, very good, very professional welcome and service. I had an Angus steak, excellent, fair price. In the middle of the “tourist trap” establishments of Sarlat, this restaurant remains authentic, we enjoy going there.
