09/03/2024: Great culinary experience in this historic restaurant in Evry Courcouronnes. I haven't been back since 2003 (in the meantime the chef has changed). We were received by a warm welcome and appetizers fresh from the oven. The chef later came to meet us to present the menu. We opt for the homemade foie gras and its chutney, the sweetbreads and the blanquette of lotte vielle France. Generous portion, fresh and quality products. For dessert, the floating island was delicious. All the ingredients for a pleasant time at the table. We feel that chef Thierry is passionate. He transmits his love of cooking to us through his beautiful plates. We had a pleasant time: thank you to the restaurant Le Canal: faultless from start to finish. Very good continuation and see you soon.

07/03/2024: What happened ? A waitress is borderline aggressive, no dialogue possible. We almost left because the service was so slow and the waitress was unfriendly. In addition the pizzas were barely cooked, but it's our fault according to the waitress.

19/09/2023: Je me vois contraint de modifier ma note passant de 5 a 1 étoiles voir 1,5 car la qualité s’est considérablement dégradée depuis que le Fils a repris la gestion du restaurant, et plus particulièrement la formule a volonté sur place… disparition de la terrasse, trop de riz sur les makis/sushis et surtout la quantité insignifiante de garniture dans les makis. Nous avons décortiquer un maki, force est de constater qu’il ne contenait quasiment pas de garniture. Cela reste cependant super bon a emporter car les makis sont bien garnis, mais la formule volonté ne vaut plus du tout le coup a ma grande décéption.. Un client fidèle depuis des années
