04/04/2024: If you like quality classic French cuisine, Vivarais is a rare relic to visit. Here there is no search for exotic mixtures that so-called new cuisine is so fond of, only traditional dishes. And what about the cheese and dessert carts, a luxury that remains in few restaurants. So if you pass through Sarras, stop at Vivarais, especially since the prices are reasonable given the quality.

Chef Cyril and his wife Hea provide that rare combination of fine-dining quality food in a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment. The menu has exciting, innovative dishes to explore and the service is impeccable. I wish I lived closer to this place to go more often! I'll certainly be returning next time I'm in the area.

26/03/2024: We discovered this restaurant recently while walking past it, and we went there on Saturday evening. Only one thing to say: we will come back, and quickly! Fast, adorable service with a smile, original and delicious dishes (special mention to the fish tartare, a killer)... Only weak point: we tested the questionnaires for the school certificate of yesteryear... And well we wouldn't be ready 🤣.
