Faubourg-Montmartre, Paris, 45-60€
16/02/2024: The cuisine is fantastic and the staff in the dining room and in the kitchen are extremely friendly. We feasted. The restaurant has a good reputation so the room is often full, which makes it extremely noisy given its small size.
10/02/2024: We leave the restaurant tonight and wow
Everyone is taken care of and the place is intimate
Miguel the chef shared with us his passion for open cuisine with a South American-Asian French influence... we were at the bar in front of the kitchen....
We saw everything tasted with our eyes before our taste buds!!!
We enjoyed everything our daughters too including the 14 year old INCREDIBLE 🤣
Thank you, it’s a beautiful memory for our eldest’s 20th birthday.
Go while there is time...
Miguel tell us where you are going….😉😉😉

22/03/2024: The food was tasty and the waiter that served me (who was the barista too) was really nice and welcoming. The ambiance is nice, but the room was a bit hot.
12/03/2024: Very good overall.
However, the pancakes were a little dry. Not wet enough, even with the creams that came with them.

Frenchie Pigalle
Saint-Georges, Paris
17/03/2024: Where to start ?
Disastrous service? One waiter is down from the day before and the other who is constantly sniffing... Both execrable.
We go there for the second service on Friday evening, the room is half empty, but they seem to be in a hurry. We come home "Good evening we have reserved for 9:30 p.m." "We have to see about this with my colleague" ok...
The colleague in question seated us, we had to wait perhaps ten minutes for another waiter to offer us the menu and water, this one was pleasant, professional and took the time to advise us.
The wait is long, the dishes arrive in an inconsistent order. I should point out that this is not our first time at Frenchie, we have not been back since the departure of chef Yohei Onoda. We still wanted to give this card a chance which no longer makes us dream. It was ok... but the portions are RIDICULOUS. We also loved the moment when one of the waiters tells the customers at the next table that the last monkfish tail is bigger than usual and that they will therefore have to pay more. So we buy by the kilo here?
The good times of Frenchie Pigalle are over...
There are tons of restaurants that are much more interesting, enjoyable and cheaper.
Do something for the staff, who look unkempt and unhealthy in addition to being unpleasant (apart from the young man with short hair)
I don't like to give this kind of review but for a bill of €140 for two, we expected to have a good time...
14/03/2024: Food started very well - really nice actually- but my main, a chicken ballotine wasn't warmed up - to the extent of the herb filling being actively cold/raw. I asked for the chicken to be warmed, the plate was taken away and after 5 min in the oven + some extra sauce returned - filling still cold. I didn't eat the main part of the dish, flagged again to the waiter. The item was fully charged on the bill. I don't mind at all being served a dish with an issue, I do mind the way it was addressed by the kitchen when raised.

27/07/2023: To flee ! Cantonese rice not fresh, it smelled rotten, my darling (African) asked to change it for white rice and the boss told him it was because of the ham, she took him for a Muslim. Very limited remark. Anyway, I was pretty sick a few hours later along with the rest. Go on your way because it’s not cheap….
