This person made me come for nothing, I live in another department and it is indicated on my CV, I asked her for a video interview but she asked me if I could come, which I could. have done. So I drove 520 km during the day and spent €100 on fuel and tolls. After a 3-hour drive and slowdowns in Montpellier, I arrived a few minutes late, but according to her it wasn't a big deal because she was cleaning in preparation for the opening. The interview lasted less than 10 minutes. From the outset, she regretted having made me move because according to her all the information was in the email and she had nothing more to add. She also told me that she had sent the same email to several people. I realized she was casting a wide net to make sure she found someone, something I've never seen anywhere else. Therefore, she was no more interested in me than in any other candidate, she did not ask me any questions other than the time of my departure from my home. I had to follow up twice to get the answer, this director who doesn't know how to manage recruitment and interviews revels in her "power" over candidates. She refuses to reimburse me for my expenses because according to her it was me who insisted on coming, which is false and I did not expect this welcome either otherwise I would not have gone. I am 60 years old and am looking for a job, I have few benefits and despite my precarious situation and her regret for having brought me for nothing, she considers that it is too bad for me that I do not I just had to tell him once again that I lived far away. She doesn't know what it's like to look for a job and be at the mercy of employers (but fortunately not all of them are like her). I want to report this disastrous situation despite his threats of harassment charges against me.
