18/03/2024: A terrace under the plane trees, a restaurant where prices have increased like everywhere. A very good aligot, but not too great a flank steak. Very friendly staff.
17/02/2024: Great welcome, a kindness that we unfortunately rarely find these days. Simple but very well done dishes at a very reasonable price. Fast service despite the crowd.
Also warmly welcomes dogs.

15/03/2024: Very friendly owner and waitress. Well eaten, the only downside was thawed lemon tart, according to my friends, my dessert crepe was super good. It seems to me that I was wrong about the rating, it deserves 8/10

Repas certes pas digne d'un grand gastro, mais très bien travaillé dans la simplicité avec de bons produits.
Pour un midi, un rapport qualité-prix absolument imbattable.

07/11/2023: What can I say first of all the toilets before the meal or the full women's trash bin {for info it was midday} so not emptied the day before 🤢 just limit it's not clean inside the household is not their friend and the kitchen well it It's not the best. I don't understand how a place with such a location is not impeccable if that were the case it would work twice as much. And I love the boss's responses to each comment that is not questioned. So above all, don't change anything because apparently you are impeccable 🤔🫣

12/03/2024: A small hotel which let's be honest is totally in its juice, and yet with great potential. nice location between greenery and river, all in the heart of the Cévennes, in a relatively quiet area. The rooms are located outside the establishment and each has its own entrance with a mini terrace. Our room is quite basic but clean and comfortable, very good bedding, small kettle and TV. The weekend of our stay, it rained a lot, and contrary to some Google reviews, the room does not suffer from any problems or smells of humidity. The bathroom is quite spacious with window and shower. Here, on the other hand, a major renovation work is essential (mouldy joints, toilet bowl from the 70s, rusty radiator, old and questionable shower curtain but everything is cleaned). The reception/catering area is spacious with a very cute terrace which we were not able to enjoy due to the weather (outdoor furniture also in its original condition). The dining room is old but cozy, the dishes are good with good value for money. Special mention to Valérie (I suppose the owner) who according to some Google reviews is very unpleasant... she is a very simple and adorable lady. On Sunday evening we were the only occupants of the hotel, we had planned to have dinner there that evening but she had planned to close the restaurant. Knowing that we were going to have difficulty finding a place to eat at this time (Sunday evening at the beginning of March) she kindly had the chef come and provide the service just for us... decent breakfast: bread, mini pastries, cake chestnut, yogurt, fruit, ham, cheese, fruit juice, tea, infusion or coffee.
To summarize, a small hotel which above all needs to be restored and upgraded and which we will keep good memories of.
10/03/2024: One night stay. Simple, warm and attentive welcome, on an impressive rainy day. The comfortable room was heated. (The damp smell in the bathroom fades quickly and the renovation work continues.)
Tasty and hearty meal. And when we woke up, the sun and the panorama delighted us. Make up your own mind, unless you want luxury and appearance....
