A sensational menu that appeals to all the senses and more than deserves the green Michelin star with exciting wine accompaniment with a wide variety of flavors. An extremely enjoyable evening with many culinary surprises!

05/04/2024: What a great discovery! We had an excellent time in this restaurant. The dishes were delicious and we couldn't have asked for a better choice of wines with the dishes. A big thank-you ! We can no longer find the name of the Ammerschwihr crémant blanc that we drank as an aperitif and which was excellent! (The table of three in Lausanne 😉)
16/03/2024: Big disappointment for this address, the dishes are good but what a surprise when it comes time to add it.
We asked for a white wine to accompany our sauerkraut, the waiter offered us half a gewurztraminer without telling us the price.
When paying, the half bottle is charged €69, the minimum would have been to notify us before offering it.
There were 4 of us customers, probably trying to make their numbers.

I really like pizza and this one is really good. Good tomato sauce, nice fluffy dough, delicious crust. And it doesn't become rubbery even at lower temperatures. Only the salami wasn't quite ideal. Good taste, slightly spicy but very firm and fatty. Still, all in all very tasty.
The lasagne was very good, lots of sauce, not dry. But also a lot of cheese. Munster cheese was probably also used, as it sometimes had a slightly bitter cheese flavor. As the "I only eat cheese when it's gratinated" type, I still liked it very much. Other non-cheese foods might find it too much cheese flavor.
Only the ambience could be better, but whatever. The food was tasty.

19/02/2024: I've been living in Kenya for 12 years now but every spring my mind goes to St. Alexis. We spent countless wonderful hours here with the best food and drink. The service was always perfect and super friendly. The long journey is always worth it, but you should enjoy this oasis when the weather is nice. A must for every family. Show your children that something like this exists outside of the Internet.

Long service. The waitress/boss waited for us to finish our glasses of wine to bring dessert. Why not ask ourselves if she could bring the sequel?
Refusal to give a carafe of water (it's obvious that at €6 for a 50 cl bottle that's a loss of income).
Does not seem visibly informed of the law of January 1, 2022 which requires restaurateurs, cafe owners, bistro owners to provide free access to drinking water.
Did not accept the mention of this legislation at all and immediately felt attacked and adopted behavior unworthy of a boss with very inappropriate verbal remarks in the face of customers who had just left a nice sum of money.
It is unacceptable. Review your behavior.
11/02/2024: Excellent moment of indulgence with the pleasure menu. An awakening of the senses. The boss Catherine is an extraordinary woman, very professional. We feel like home. Congratulations to chef Pascal!

24/12/2023: Warm welcome, impeccable service for breakfast (did not try the restaurant), spacious and clean room. Hotel ideally located, quiet.
23/09/2023: The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is great, and the food in the restaurant is delicious (both breakfast and dinner). Mr. Camisa is a great host and we enjoyed his hospitality, and his good nature. Highly recommend this place!

It was perfect, and every time we came to Kaserberg, we systematically went there, yesterday we found the door closed!!, disappointed!! on kaserberg
All they have to do is review their price
It's abused!!
31/10/2023: We have just discovered this establishment and were very pleasantly surprised. The takeaway menus are very good and plentiful. We had a great time this week. We will come back to see you regularly. Very friendly welcome...thank you...😉👍
Update as of October 31, 2023: unfortunately this restaurant is now permanently closed.....

Go for it !!!!
The atmosphere is warm, the servers are very friendly, and we had a great time (sauerkraut, baba kouglof, iced kouglof, and the white wine was delicious... congratulations to the winemaker!).
It was very good !
The Bretons on Saturday noon.

24/03/2024: Visit this essential restaurant when we go on a weekend in Alsace. You can find all the Alsatian specialties there, the atmosphere is friendly and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Don't forget to book in advance.

25/02/2024: Unfortunately big disappointment. With an undercooked pork shank and sauerkraut reheated for several days, the pleasure was not there 😭
And the condition of the toilets clearly leaves something to be desired.
