17/02/2024: We had a pleasant time at Mathieu's restaurant...very good food..a very pleasant place.Sabine is very kind and listens to the customer. very friendly and welcoming, we feel at home. We ate there in June 2023 on the terrace facing the sea very close to the beach, to say with our feet in the sand, back in Aléria we went to eat at Mathieu's today today this time in the dining room with a nice wood fire where you could see the cook putting the sausages, the beautiful pieces of beef etc. if you pass by don't miss this cocooning place to eat well

04/04/2024: We enjoyed the food and the service. Our server was attentive even if there was a slight problem with ordering the starter to share. The sea bass fillet with citrus sauce, very good. Cooked just right. The chestnut fondant, as it should be. Good mark. Still, overall, the owner seems more friendly with the regulars, too bad... It's up to you to judge.

29/02/2024: The rooms for 3.. were 2 floored, hosting at least 4 guests, seems like private house. Ot is not on the beach side. Staff helpful, speaking english. Has a pool in back yard. Although in february not very needfull. One minus although, there is no warm breakfast.

14/12/2023: First of all I wanted to thank the hotel staff but especially the restaurant staff who are incredible, golden people, I had a wonderful week. Mirta, Guy and the chef are fantastic, go there with your eyes closed, he gives good advice, they are attentive. At the bar there is a choice of rum that you will not find everywhere Mirta and Guy are passionate and will pass on their knowledge of wine, rum, beer and island products to you.
Thanks also to the person at Aleria! What I encountered was great

24/11/2023: Un super hôtel , d'une propreté exemplaire , la dame de la réception d'une grande gentillesse et politesse , ainsi que le monsieur du matin , le restaurant au top et succulent sont les plats.
Le petit déjeuner est plus qu'appétissant .... Un vrai régal !!

A cozy and warm atmosphere, an extremely kind and considerate welcome, and cuisine that is inventive, surprising, fine, and very pleasant! A very happy encounter and one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Corsica! Well done and thank you to the whole team!
12/03/2024: Excellent and surprising address next to a roundabout. We would like to see it more often. Banish banal cooking, burgers, tasteless salads and everything we make at home. Here, inventive, refined cuisine at an affordable price. From appetizers to sweets and coffee, everything is delicious, fresh and surprising! The service is adorable and classy without overdoing it. The antique furniture and crockery, the music, the terrace, everything is nice without being stuffy. A big congratulations! If there were places like that near me, I would probably go to the restaurant more often.

22/09/2023: An address to remember. We can go there with our eyes closed. The dishes are excellent and the welcome is cordial.

08/08/2023: Restaurant with a great view of the surrounding area, even over the coast. The old town only consists of a few houses and 2 museums, but is completely preserved.
The welcome in this restaurant is very warm, plenty of home-grown melon is served, so of course we snapped it up straight away and took two pieces with us.
We felt very comfortable here and were there for coffee in the afternoon, but the owner took time for us and gave tips about the area. You order and pay when you order at the counter, which is very friendly. lady of the house.

05/08/2023: 5 stars only so as not to penalize the rating but we did not eat there. The comment is posted only to ask to update the file because it is no longer a restaurant but a snack (roasted chicken, sandwich, salads)
