01/04/2024: 4 star hotel....... Well I wonder So much to say.... unfortunately Smartbox box entitled Luxury stay and SPA A romantic night in a superior double room.......tiny room, I wonder what a normal room should be like. No heating but a small oil bath, Which you have to plug in to have heating but the electricity works with the room card so no heating if you are not in the room........ No electrical outlet in the bathroom, advice to girls, do not bring your straighteners and even less an electric toothbrush..... The nonchalance of the owner of the place is evident. Very young staff probably in training who do not understand French, however adorable and smiling. And the best, the luxury SPA.......... MDR, rather called it a relaxation area, nothing to do with a SPA...... Breakfast, don't expect to have a choice..... A Mini croissant, Mini pain au chocolat, not two but one per person, I think Given the way it is done, a supplement is to be expected if you are really hungry....... Imposed the automatic blocking of 150 Euros on your credit card upon arrival for check-in even if you have already paid everything before, we explain to you that you have no choice even if you pay in cash. There is still a lot to say.... even about the cleanliness of the corridors, the shared elevator with the laundry bins in the morning when you bring down your suitcases..... I'll spare you the details of the restaurant, go eat elsewhere..... In short, especially to avoid....... I don't know where the 4 stars come from, I'm still looking for what could be worth them regarding this establishment.

24/03/2024: Very friendly hotel, the boss is very available. The very family side of the hotel gives a plus which makes the environment very cozy

04/04/2024: The food and atmosphere were great although the service was not the best. The waitress was very friendly but a bit forgetful.

02/04/2024: An excellent address where we come back each time we visit Flaine! Quality products, lovely service and this cocktail inspired by the Moscow mule with Charteuse... delicious :).

18/03/2024: Big disappointment for this emblematic hotel of brutalist art. The only positive point is the exceptional architecture of the bar/restaurant and its friendly staff. On the hotel side, it's a disaster, not so much for the minimalist room with a bed that has lived well as for the Formula 1 type bathroom, aging, microscopic, without any welcome product. As for the spa, with supplement, there is no bathrobe. You therefore have the choice between crossing the hotel in a swimsuit or changing, like an external customer, in a changing room with a locker. In summary, 4-star hotel prices for 1-star service. Enjoy the bar, but don't stay at this hotel, it's not worth it.

04/03/2024: We spent an afternoon at the totem spa and bar. Top spa team even if we hadn't booked, stunning view and bonus loan of the swimsuit that Madame forgot. At the bar, thank you to Ewen for these delicious cocktails and his good humor and professionalism ;)

03/04/2024: Certainly not worth more than 2 stars. It was unpleasant and extremely noisy. Our waiter was rude because he felt our order did not go fast enough. Afterwards, we were brought meals several times that we had not ordered. I ordered an omelette with salad, the omelette was still raw at the bottom.

17/03/2024: We stopped by Le Marlow for a quick bite before the drive back to Geneva and they did a great job of getting us served and back on the road in less than an hour, which is just what we needed! The duck confit burger and the Forrestier pizza were both incredibly delicious! Staff were very attentive which made the atmosphere all the more welcoming! We will definitely be back!
