03/04/2024: What a great find for someone with coeliac. I had a gluten free buckwheat pancake with apples and caramel. It was sooooo good!
01/04/2024: I was only introduced to this gem this season with friends who've been coming back for years - regulars!
I'm now delighted to be passing introductions to more friends.
We arrived at the end of service, but still a friendly welcome with a great spot for a late lunch in the sun.
Cracking burgers (the Jacksons) and possibly the best celtic pancakes on the mountain!
Reasonably priced, too. c. €11-15 for a burger (not the double Jackson! ;-)) and smile back, and you just might get a jenapi 😉
This is a family business with owners of 15 years & parents Bengt & Ginny with daughter Margot + fiancé Thibault running around with Aurelien to keep you happy!

16/03/2024: Even if the slope is closed, take the trouble to go there on foot from the Zorne chairlift because it is a welcoming place with excellent cuisine. The porcini crust is killer. Thank you for this delicious moment

02/04/2024: Monkfish served raw, sent back & served raw again on the same plate. A refusal to take it off the bill . Attitude was horrific from the staff/manager. Arrogant & unapologetic.
I have had a response from the restaurant asking me to take down my review because they say they do not have monkfish on their a la carte menu. Unfortunately, this was the fish of the day on Monday 18 March. In response to L'Auberge: I am always very careful to ensure that I review accurately. Whether good, or in this case, bad. You should be very careful to check what you have served on any given day when reviewed on it.

10/03/2024: Good spot for drinks and food. Generous portion sizes and will leave you satisfied especially after a day on the slopes. Quick service, friendly and a bonus of a good Guinness
16/02/2024: The original Montriond bar and still the best. The even mix of French and English says something about the bar and the owners.
Food and drink equally good and always convivial and welcoming with regular live music nights in the 8 years I've been going. Long may or continue!

26/03/2024: Perfect place for lunch! We were there on a very sunny and warm day, it was perfect sitting outside by the slopes. The waiter was really nice. And the food delicious - the pizzas are really good! Good wine list. Was a little disappointed with the hazelnut moelleux. But definitely somewhere we would come back and recommend to our friends.
13/03/2024: Refused to serve us drinks, telling us that we absolutely had to order food. However, it says "bar restaurant" on the front, and other customers were only drinking... strange.

07/09/2023: Super friendly service, but unfortunately the food was really not good for the price, the fondue was based on Rapé cheese! So the texture was not there and no taste of cheese... at 20eur p.p.... too bad because there would be potential...
03/09/2023: Great restaurant! No complaints !!! From bubble tea, to buger to dessert (sorbet and blueberry tart) with an incredible setting! Ambient music not loud, just perfect. Waitresses and waiters at the top! THANKS !!!
Not to mention the incredible setting and shaded terrace!!!

04/04/2024: Friendly service and they serve the anthemic apricot liqueur (this area is called Abricotine because of an old cute story: a load of apricot liqueur smuggled across the border spilled on the snow and sometimes today you can still feel the smell coming out of the snow :)
15/03/2024: I ordered a salad for a light lunch, and to my surprise it was a very generous salad! For once it's in this sense I have nothing to say about it, I had trouble finishing 😊.
It was very good and the service very pleasant, thank you for this moment on a lunch between two ski slopes.

20/02/2024: Very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.
I was expecting a classic mountain restaurant like so many others but everything was better.
the portions were very generous, which compensates for the slightly high prices like all restaurants at altitude.
And between the meat cooked on the grill outside, the homemade desserts and the impeccable service, I recommend a stop at this address.
11/02/2024: After several visits in 2023, I returned to the clarines. And then what a disappointment: prices have become prohibitive and the desserts which were very generous last year have melted like snow in the sun.
Gentlemen leaders, there are not only English people at the Lindarets...
