get the cafe gourmand (or hot chocolate gourmand) if you have space for mini deserts and a drink after your main :)
30/03/2024: Have really enjoyed our take away pizzas from La Puzze. Ready in ten minutes and a great selection to choose from. Standard pizzas plus some local varieties. Just ask when ordering if you'd like your pizzas sliced. Staff are both efficient and friendly. Merci beaucoup!
We ate in once last year which was fantastic and it's busy there every evening so book a table in advance if you want to eat in.

28/03/2024: Being passing through the area, we took a reservation for 11 people
Rather nice restaurant, rustic decor, but pleasant
A rather simple map but in keeping with the place
The only downside to this evening was the raclette
Not mentioned by the menu and the server which was of a smoked flavor (raclette)
being not at all a fan of this flavor which for me totally distorts the taste of cheese I was very disappointed however I was happy to eat a real raclette in the mountains for the rest of the table everything was good
Special mentions for the Savoyard fondue, is the boss of incredible kindness
Without this raclette I would have had a superb evening I would have given 5 stars without any excitement

29/03/2024: The Savoyard fondue was simple, slightly lacking in taste. I gave it 3 stars because the bread served with the fondue was stale and moldy, fortunately we had a commercial gesture.
18/03/2024: Lemony perch fillets (Without lemon... Not even a small piece on the plate to possibly add more).
Frozen fries.
Fondue extra bland porcini mushrooms, we had to add salt.

02/04/2024: Stayed here Feb 2024 half term week. Great location; great staff and fantastic breakfast. We had a family room - which had separate kids bunk bed room and kitchen area. Great balcony with views on the mountains and very close to the ski lift.
We also had food in the evening which was great. The only small downside is that the bathroom was in the kids room so at bedtime and in the middle of the night a bit tricky if you don’t want to wake the kids!
Still would recommend this hotel for a visit to Morillon - although limited snow at Les Esserts / no snow. So ideal check before travel. Samoens close by had good snow.
19/03/2024: We had a perfect stay, the staff were so helpful and I’d definitely recommend the Morillon Hôtel. We had an apartment which was ideal, it came well equipped, very cosy with views of the mountains from the balcony and bedroom. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely after a day on the slopes too - thanks for a fab time ! 🏔️🏂❄️🫶🏼

24/02/2024: Tasty crepes, friendly service. Took a bit long, but not surprising considering how busy it was.
15/02/2024: For years, it's always been nice to be on this terrace when the weather is nice. But the menu has been greatly reduced recently, the wide choice of super good pancakes and pancakes having been removed 😥

08/03/2024: The place is fine, but there is a 10€ minimum for card payments, basically forcing you to order something else to up your bill.
12/02/2024: It is a simple, atypical and rustic place. The Cashta team is smiling and friendly. The dishes are good. No fuss and it's very good.
