19/02/2024: Welcome, atmosphere, service and quality of the dishes offered are there. The spring rolls, my favorite starter, the sushi and sashimi are well made and the raw fish is quality. All the dishes are palatable, the wines are of good quality, especially the mineral white Graves that I chose. We sense the solid experience of the master of the house. Thank you and long life to the Koi.

18/02/2024: Small bar restaurant with a good atmosphere, the food is excellent, we had a discovery menu for 2, the quantity is just sufficient, the quality is there. The staff are lovely

29/08/2023: We tried to call to order takeout, no one answered. We travel from La Couarde at 7:45 p.m. to order takeaway or eat on site. The restaurant is open but does not take take-out or dine-in orders when there is no one inside. The person is not friendly… too bad!

01/04/2024: I do not recommend this hotel for several reasons: - breakfast at 9 euros is 99% supplied by the Leclerc which is 5 minutes from the hotel (branded compote, no fruit), nothing is fresh, everything is industrial and not much choice. - the reception closes in the evening, we were stuck outside at 9 p.m. because the room card no longer worked and no one at reception. We called reception and seemed to be bothering the man who came to open the door. Besides, the man at reception is very non-catchy and not at all welcoming. - there is no phone in the room to contact reception either. - when we arrived the room was cold we had to ask reception to come and turn up the heating. This was apparently an “oversight”. - the room lacks electrical outlets. - the rooms are not soundproofed, you can hear the cars passing outside as well as the neighbors. For a 3 star it leaves something to be desired.

31/03/2024: Came to spend 1 night in this hotel with my partner, value for money almost respected because the hotel offers rooms with bathroom with bathtub, and one of the main reasons why I booked here, but very disappointed when it's time to want to take a bath that the system that blocks the siphon doesn't work so no bath for me unfortunately and neither for my partner, then the room was pretty much clean advice never remove the sink cap it's not pretty, and the sheets had stains and hairs, apart from that the service and breakfast offered corresponds to what is offered

09/03/2024: The BEST Japanese restaurant around. A culinary ecstasy assured frankly, for me who doesn't eat 🐟 raw fish, I literally threw myself on it, extra fresh fish that melts in my mouth. I also fell for the Thai beef, which was delicious. It will now be my favorite restaurant. 😍 even if it means driving 40 minutes

29/02/2024: Rarely have I eaten such bad sushi, apart from once, a tray that I was able to get in a supermarket. Being a salesman, I was able to try many restaurants in Bordeaux, Bayonne, Poitiers, Paris, Grenoble, La Roche Yon... Without even tasting them, I knew that it would not be good, you can see it by the color of the rice which is different (it shines). The rice is mushy (in my opinion the rice is not rinsed before cooking, a process which removes the starch, which gives this sticky texture), complicated to chew, and on top of that the sushi Are big and not particularly good done, the canned tuna mix was frozen. I have even eaten better sushi in restaurants, all-you-can-eat wok buffet. The soup wasn't bad but surprised not to see any mushrooms. Concerning coleslaw, the latter did not marinate long enough because it was still crunchy. Very surprised to see so many favorable opinions (I think people didn't have too much to compare). Big progress to be made... Avoid for the moment.

10/10/2023: Several times I come here it is excellent, but it is a shame to give priority to take-out and delivery. More than 1 hour and 15 minutes for dinner with low room occupancy rate... I can't even imagine the busy time. Too bad because everything is excellent, the room has been completely redone... it just lacks great organization.

16/03/2024: I just ordered by Uber, the goyza arrived raw... not just cold, raw... this is not the first time that I have had problems with this shop, go elsewhere at sushi royale for example
