09/09/2023: Chicken taco was an uncooked wrap with lukewarm preheated chicken with microwave rice. I gave it back to the kitchen. Then ordered the chicken curry which was served 3 minutes later (microwave). Why would you pay these prices if everything is microwaved.

27/10/2023: For several years I have been going there at least once a season, I preferred the former owners commercially speaking., on the kitchen side, already the service is mega long, the time to settle down and take the order on average 30 minutes... So it's really passable, when we finally deign to take care of ourselves, the service remains long, on average 15 minutes to get drinks, so basically 45 minutes to wait for nothing... The mussels are good (fortunately ), we were never sick, but poorly prepared, since the mussels do not cook in the sauce, a serious mistake in our opinion... Fortunately it remains affordable.
But every year it doesn't get better in fact, it's always a "friends first" atmosphere at Penon... And I've been spending my holidays there for over 35 years, I grew up at the penon... And I still can't stand these "anti-tourist house is happy that they fill our pockets" atmosphere

01/04/2024: We had a great time, great welcome, service with a smile and quality homemade food. There were 12 of us, 6 children and 6 adults so it was not easy to find a restaurant that could accommodate us, especially without a reservation, so thank you again for this sunny lunch. Florence
31/03/2024: The food was good, but in the end we had a mishap. They did not warn us from the beginning that the dataphone did not work, they told us that we could withdraw at the ATM, having to pay the ATM commission. On top of that, they didn't give us a ticket, they wrote it on a piece of paper.

30/03/2024: We went to order 5 ice creams for children and the stupid saleswoman did not allow us to leave the bicycle carrying a baby while we placed the order. The square was empty, the girl was very cute but not intelligent at all. We left without asking, and he doesn't speak English or Spanish in a tourist area. I hope the property doesn't have it anymore. I would give zero stars but the app doesn't allow it.

29/08/2023: Un soir de juillet. Arrivés sur place sans avoir réservé, très bon accueil, serveur super sympa et souriant agréable et conseille bien Vin de Gascogne doux excellent. Très bonne découverte ce resto , le vin et les plats. J’avais pris le menu et choisis les moules version tapas en entrée : excellent, bien relevé sans agresser le palais, tout était parfaitement dosé. Ensuite gambas légumes et pommes de terre grenaille. Les enfants ont pris un hamburger basque avec un steak bien gros et très bon. En dessert j’ai pris la mousse au chocolat et les enfants des crêpes au nutella. Il y a une terrasse au dessus , une devant , une sur le côté et une salle à l’intérieur. La plage est à deux pas et il y a de quoi se garer à côté avec plusieurs parkings. Et en prime, ils acceptent la carte sodexo ( tickets resto) donc ravie du début à la fin du repas. Je recommande cette adresse.
