30/03/2024: Since my Argentinian husband has been in France, this is the best meat he has eaten. And I confirm! You can really taste the meat from there. The rib eye steak was very tender.
The empanada was also very good, the meat was really well seasoned.
The dessert was also very good.
Small downside: I didn't like the decoration which was too simple. It would be worth adding a South American onda to make the restaurant even nicer! :)
We will come back!
28/03/2024: Meal entirely in line with the expectations of the place, we ate Burgers, a roasted Camembert and a smoked duck breast with pleasure, the slightly spicy sauce was original and perfectly seasoned our dishes, the welcome was warm and professional. I strongly advise.

26/02/2024: Nous y sommes allés avec mon conjoint pour le déjeuner.
Nous avons extrêmement bien mangé. Les produits sont frais et de saison avec une carte des vins locaux.
Une expérience à renouveler !!!

Everything was perfect in both cases and the staff were friendly and professional.

29/03/2024: What a find this is! If you dont pay attention you would easily drive past this place, and that would be a shame. The food is always fresh and tasty and there is a wide variety on the different set menu's on offer. We had the foie gras (one of the best in the region, and not easy to come by nowadays) followed by the fish served with mushroom risotto and a chorizo sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, what a nice flavor combination, the chef clearly cooks with passion. The winelist is well put together and the prices are fair (loved the Chablis for € 33). Staff is friendly and helpfull. All in all worth the visit.

Interesting value for money.
19/03/2024: Fresh, good, quality, superbly cooked and the icing on the cake is plentiful, spacious and pleasant restaurant room, comfortable seats, quality cutlery. FYI we took the menu for €52, I almost forgot the excellent welcome and the kindness of the staff

19/02/2024: Very disapointed. Considering the prices and the pretension of the menu, the meal had to be impeccable and this was far from being the case. Too salty, lack of finesse in the dishes, unnecessary ingredients except for the pompous title of the dish, coarse dosages of ingredients... and finally, customers allow themselves to watch a comedy show on their phone so loudly that it drowns out the ambient music without that none of the people in the restaurant say anything to them!
It's not worth the shot. I advise against.

01/04/2024: Quite simply wonderful, my partner and I came with no more expectations than that and yet from the first step the service was impeccable.
Coats taken from the locker room, new cutlery for each dish, etc.
The restaurant has a marked identity without existing only through it.
I had read before coming that there was only one person in the kitchen and indeed the size of the room does not require more, but we never felt like we were waiting.
The same goes for the service, I only saw one person the whole time and yet we never had to ask for anything.
Copious and spicy cuisine, truly for me it was the highlight of my stay in Saumur.
