31/03/2024: Wow wow wow!! Where do I begin? I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chez Roger. We were visiting Utah Beach when we realized it was lunch time and the closest, open place was Chez Roger. We drove 9 minutes down the road and arrived at this charming house on the sea. We were greeted by Ton Ton, the Bernese Mountain Dog, who belongs to Rafael. Our server, Rafael, welcomed us in, spoke PERFECT English, and offered us the two seats at the bar. He informed us that the chef chooses the menu, and helped us pick a great wine to go with the meal. We had three EXCELLENT courses and a wonderful time. Chez Roger truly feels like a hidden gem in Normandie and it is a MUST VISIT. Thank you to the entire team for welcoming us in!!! We love you, Chez Roger!!!!

02/04/2024: Very good restaurant with very fresh cuisine. The service is outstanding! The food is excellent. We have rarely eaten so well. It was very good, very quick good portion. An absolutely fair price-performance ratio. We would be happy to come back and once again enjoy good service with excellent cuisine.
We had steak, hamburgers and of course a delicious crepe and a delicious coffee.
Thank you for that…. ♥️

03/04/2024: The restaurant stands out for the exceptional quality of its products, all local and devoid of industrial character, thus offering an authentic flavor in each dish. We greatly enjoyed our meal, delighted to be able to taste local and healthy products. The staff, competent and friendly, knew how to make the experience even more pleasant, without overdoing it. The price is 45 euros per person. We will return.

24/03/2024: For Americans who need an updated review :) the kitchen closes at 2 ! There are no other food options around ! Plan accordingly! Staff were beyond accommodating! After coming from Germany where closing at 2 means 1 , they let us still order food at 1:55 pm ! It was a miracle! There was a gift shop connected and a bar in the front part that does not close when the kitchen does . Very cool place filled with interesting military patches and signatures . Not a complaint at all ! But plan accordingly because kitchen will close at 2pm ! And for someone coming from Germany you may wonder , they take Karte !!! Normandy is wonderful 😌
12/03/2024: We went there with the children (6 and 10 years old) and they found a dish that suited them. We enjoyed the meal but above all, the atmosphere transports you to 1944...all these signatures on the walls...It's overwhelming. I recommend :)
