17/02/2024: J’ai rarement vu un hôtel avec un charme aussi époustouflant que Le clair de la plume. L’accueil a été formidable et la chambre avait un charisme et une histoire qui se ressentait rien qu’à l’ouverture de la porte. L’emplacement est parfait avec le petit marché où je ne suis pas sûre que ce soit tous les jours, mais qui en vaut le détour. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, situé dans une véranda plein soleil le matin et un choix très varié avec des produits de très bonne qualité. Le cadre est vraiment exceptionnel! Je n’y manquerai pas de revenir si je repasse par là. Bravo l’équipe et merci pour cette découverte.

28/03/2024: A beautiful place with a breakfast that is definitely worth it. The staff is pleasant and the room charming. Small clarification (at least in the one where we were), there is room to put a travel cot, very practical with a baby. We will come back :)

27/02/2024: The food is always good, the welcome is always pleasant, and so is the place. We warmly recommend. Two small remarks all the same. The quantities are a little fair, the dishes (a little less the desserts?) like the glasses of wine for example in the menus with wine pairing (19 € more for example for the Terre varnished) with 3 very lightly filled glasses. That's a shame.

Le Crocodile is much more than just a restaurant, it is a destination where passion for cooking translates into divinely delicious dishes. 15/01/2024: Visit in December. We had reservations to eat in the evening and we were finally alone in the room. The room located opposite the reception (on the other side of the street) is very pleasant, there is a very pretty typical decoration with beautiful posters, beautiful objects and nice music. We ordered the appetizers and entrees together and were served quickly. Everything was really delicious, very well presented, spicy, really perfect! The family staff is really very pleasant, funny, kind, really very friendly, it really adds something extra to this great trip. We were really pleased with everything and ate really well.

15/10/2023: This is a rating that was difficult to give because I try to do it seriously. It was a question of sanctioning or not the execrable atmosphere that evening. When we talk about a "family" restaurant it's a common expression, which we don't expect to take at face value. But there we thought, together, that a red line had been crossed. Entering a small restaurant where you know you're going to spend between €80 and €90 (menu €29 + drinks) and finding a baby crying continuously is already annoying. But then discovering that it is the child of the restaurant owners, that the father is in the kitchen with his baby in his arms to give him a taste, before he comes to serve us in the same way, is frankly critical. At the moment we put that aside and focused on the meal. We left with a smile, saying sincerely that we had a good dinner. Then afterwards we realized that the day before (dinner postponed) we were looking for calm after a tiring week, and also for a more intimate moment. And that would have been a catastrophic evening. Hence the bad rating. This is an unacceptable mistake, it MUST NOT happen in any restaurant, even “family”. Besides that, the salmon bruschetta was delicious, the sea bass OK despite the overly salty lemon sauce, the tagliatelle a little overcooked, and the rum baba as a well-watered dessert. Good quality/price ratio without being excellent. We will probably return but not until next spring or summer.
