Great service and friendly and attentive staff.
The only downside is that it is a bit small but that didn't stop us from having a great time.

02/04/2024: it's good. In particular, the texture is good because the chicken is cooked like a kebab rather than marinated and cut into large pieces. Also, desserts are sweet and have a good texture.
22/03/2024: It has become quite expensive, and the reception is cold…. Bank card only from 8 euros, which prevents you from just having a sandwich for lunch

01/04/2024: I saw a video on Instagram about this place. Of course, extraordinare, I have to try it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Zero taste for 10€ - because if you want extra things - vegetables, hummus - you have to pay extra. Lack of salt, lack of condiment, lack of everything. It doesn't deserve it at all. I don't advise you.

03/04/2024: I love Chez Omar. generous portions of simple delicious North African couscous. The only thing I’d seriously criticize: the vegetable couscous is far too liquid and watery. Deserts are unbelievable: a mini-mountain of baklava and so many others are offered. A pitcher of wine can be had with your meal. The space is old and cozy w spotless linens - well organized by a highly trained of smiling servers.
I love Chez Omar. Gigantic portions of simple and delicious North African couscous. The only thing I would seriously criticize is the vegetable couscous which is far too runny and watery. The desserts are incredible: a mini mountain of baklava and so many others are offered. A pitcher of wine can accompany the meal. The space is old, comfortable, with impeccable linens, all well organized by smiling and very well trained waiters.
03/04/2024: Small detail which may be important, it is a restaurant serving “traditional” dishes where you hear Arabic spoken, which sells itself as such but employs waiters who take offense, point at each other and shout at each other. irritated when asked (aside and discreetly) if the meat is halal. Orientalism when you hold us! To flee.

31/03/2024: Excellent restaurant located in the heart of Marais. With airy decoration and delicious hearty cuisine. We went on Easter Sunday with 3 children and the staff were lovely and helpful.

The cocktails are delicious, especially the “burning lips”, and the super gourmet dishes. In general, we enjoy ourselves at Malro so it may seem a little expensive but in the end you have eaten well, drunk well, in a friendly setting and with a good atmosphere.
