06/04/2024: The restaurant was suggested to us. Although it was suggested to reserve, they were kind enough to serve us.
We had salads as a main course: the Norman salad and the Caesar salad. The 2 plates were very generous. For dessert, at the neighboring table, one of the people had the iced Paris Brest. I took the same thing. I only regret one thing: I wasn't able to take it (frozen dessert) because it was so plentiful. We made it for salads. The Norman salad surprises on the palate: the apples flambéed with Calvados combined with Camembert toasts...a treat! The delicious and hearty Caesar, the only problem is the presentation with long slices of bacon placed on top... can be presented differently once cooked (in a roll)...
04/04/2024: I came with a group of 14, one evening, we had reserved a table, we had already been to this restaurant many times so no apprehension for all.
We were very disappointed with the service and particularly with a waitress who only rushed us, barely giving us time to choose our drinks and our dishes.
Plus no second service after us because it was during the week, so really no reason for us to be in a particular hurry.
All very disappointed, we will not be happy to return to this restaurant.

31/03/2024: We had our daughter's baptism meal, we were not disappointed, very pleasant welcome and very good meal I recommend, the children even enjoyed the garden.

Dreary room without any charm, another room next door seemed nicer.
Efficient service.
Uninteresting Amuse Bouches as an aperitif.
For the dishes, very, too generous quantities.

04/04/2024: A very pleasant welcome by a smiling receptionist. A comfortable room even if slightly in its original state and soundproofing is a nightmare. In terms of housekeeping, it's 1 day out of 2. For dinner, you'd better arrive early, otherwise you'll have to go to bed on an empty stomach, even if you arrive at 9:20 p.m.
A TV that is impossible to watch cuts out constantly.
24/03/2024: This is a budget hotel, the rooms are perfectly comfortable and utilitarian. There's a kettle and paper cups with a couple of sachets of tea and coffee. For us it is perfectly situated for a short drive to Calais after a long drive from northern Spain. The best bit is the evening meal and the staff on duty. Rude on reception is welcoming and helpful. Mehdi in the restaurant is the perfect host and knows exactly how to make the guests feel at ease with a laugh and a joke. Nicolas the Chef serves up some great food! After a long drive the restaurant experience definitely helps you to relax. They even remembered us from our last visit 5 months ago! Breakfast is great for a budget hotel with a good choice of cereals, fruits, bread, etc. We'll definitely be back!
