16/09/2023: From the outside we wonder, this little restaurant is worth the detour, passing through we stopped for lunch and frankly not disappointed. The cuisine is simple but very good and fresh.

28/03/2024: My review refers to a stay in June 2023 From the reviews I read, perhaps we were really unlucky because otherwise I can't explain. The lady who welcomes us is kind and does everything to make us feel comfortable, but the "hotel" is in really poor condition. Floor with creaking boards, rooms with bathrooms (you can't call it a bathroom!) In a room with a folding door, open at the top and bottom and which doesn't close properly. The toilet flush sounds like thunder, in short, it's all almost surreal. The room communicates with the neighbor's room and you can clearly hear when he unzips his suitcase or chews. The dinner... good raw materials, and the kindness of the lady serving us who I believe is the owner do the rest. But really everything needs to be reviewed. It's very true that the cost is very low, but for the same amount in Italy and Europe there are truly better solutions. We are sorry because it could be a pleasant structure if completely renovated.

04/02/2024: Hotel perfectly located on the Place de Vimoutiers, with a mini-market, tobacconists, bar, etc. near. However, it is a special atmosphere, narrow room with double bed, a sink with cups crushed in half, but cups all the same. Towels are provided for washing in the shared showers on the first floor which I did not have the courage to try, and a shared toilet on each landing. The bedroom window was a physical and mathematical challenge to open, and when closing the shutters, it was just mission impossible, 5 minutes to get through it is a bit long. The bedroom door is also complicated to open, you had to force the handle to actually engage it fully. Apart from all that, decent breakfast, really friendly owner, and this is unfortunately one of the only strong points of the place.

04/04/2024: Good meal, simple but good, a little expensive meal but no regrets, friendly and competent waitress.

02/04/2024: Following our request on Facebook (request for start time of lunch service) we actually came for lunch that day but: cold roast camembert and plenty of water, extra fries were requested. It was never served but the waitress offered it to us without ever having had it... Unfortunately, I think we'll take a break and look elsewhere
