02/04/2024: Tested this afternoon with family....
When you arrive, you are directly surrounded by the decor, let's face it, both outdated and kitsch, it feels a bit "Las Vegas"... but not unpleasant at all.
The service was friendly, smiling, simple and efficient, nothing to complain about. The menus are well done with short menus and fresh products.
We tested 3 different menus (including Easter) and the whole table was delighted with all the dishes. They are simple but well cooked and with good products.
The portions are quite good and I was (very) pleasantly surprised by the quality/price ratio of the basic menu... really well done!
So I highly recommend!
30/03/2024: Excellent value for money, not to be missed, the two menus are very fine, from the starter to the dessert, a symphony of taste pleasure and then the dessert, to tell the truth, I melted with the lemon cream, authentic archipelago flavors!

29/03/2024: The hygiene of the restaurant is deplorable, going from the floor to the toilets through the dishes... you eat and drink from dirty dishes with marks and chips... The waitress doesn't clean her, I'm sorry. as an excuse but it's a reality, dirty clothes and dirty hands...
The food is good but the plates are very sparse, we were left hungry.
The friendliness of the waitress and the cook should be reviewed...
I obviously do not recommend this establishment...
The old Port de Vénus with its former owners is greatly missed by the locals!

03/03/2024: The sea bream was excellent! Fresh and quality products. The service was very good, warm welcome, the boss attentive and very pleasant. But, 4 very thin slices of Manchego for €9 is a bit expensive.
The frame also lacks a little warmth.
Very good time all the same, thank you very much!

The food is average, neither bad nor excellent.
On the other hand, for dessert, don't take: Vacherin, tasteless and indigestible, not to mention that they tell you to wait before eating it (you can't cut it!), wait before eating dessert? .
Very disappointed we will not come back.

03/04/2024: We were there for the opening of the terrace. It is an unmissable place in Port-Vendres, facing the commercial port, the mountains and the colorful facades of the city. In the sun or in the shade, depending on where you stand. The dishes served are very good, well balanced. Their specialty is fish of course! They had forgotten the appetizer but it was served to us at the end of the starter, phew 🤤
29/03/2024: We went to dinner with a couple of friends and everything was delicious, the scallops starter, the white fish and the tuna. The raspberry dessert was also very fresh and smooth, there was no time to take photos 😊 they made a meat dish with carrot puree and risotto for my daughter, which was also delicious.

Hidden on the Cap Béart road, just before the Jetée, the restaurant is old-fashioned but you feel good there, especially on the terrace.
The food is good, everything seems fresh and homemade
but nothing justifies such exorbitant prices for drinks:
Classic poncho or planter glass cocktail: €14
Coca 25cl bottle: €9
Espresso coffee: €3.50
Credit card not accepted, ask not to pay VAT, or contact the DGCCRF...
We come away with a rather unpleasant feeling despite once again the really nice setting. Damage.
06/10/2023: We made a reservation on Friday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't open. Without informing us.....no service at all without explanation and the owner was on site. Thanks, I'll never come here again
