04/04/2024: Being able to make reservations for 23 people is not always easy. We communicated in advance what we wanted to eat. Quickly served, delicious food and still affordable. Recommended!
28/03/2024: We went there twice on our family vacation because the food and ambience are just great. In addition, the price-performance ratio is right. Downstairs in the bar is also really great and recommended. Always my pleasure. Very friendly and helpful.

Only two meat dishes or melted cheeses are offered during our visit with the invariable list of mountain specialties. A number of dishes are no longer available. One of the dishes was lamb but they couldn't tell us where it came from. Very disappointed by this reduced choice compared to what I had been told. Good wine list. The veranda terrace is a beautiful view point. The adjacent room where we were is very noisy which is a shame. Some of us were frankly bothered by the noise level. Decorative flame in the middle of the table, annoying for talking, seeing each other and helping yourself, heats the wine glasses and the bottle. We asked that this flame be evacuated.
01/04/2024: We really enjoyed this very cozy moment in all simplicity. Absolute calm, careful presentation.
We enjoyed the main course and dessert.

03/04/2024: Pretty good for a restaurant in a ski resort. Because most of them all have that log cabin interior. I specifically selected photos of the interior because I didn't want the log cabin feeling on my birthday on a ski trip. Parking is provided. So the interior was effectively different and fun. With a wood fire that made it cozy. The host was friendly and attentive and had a talent for serving guests. The hostess was more reserved. The food was quite tasty. Price quality was certainly okay. The tables were quite low and so were the chairs and benches. Putting a cushion on your chair solved the problem.

Never disappointed by both the food and the friendliness of the staff. Moreover, for a high-altitude restaurant, the prices are correct. We can't see ourselves going to La Toussuire without having lunch at Saint S'O

27/08/2023: We stopped for a drink after having cycled up, almost at 40°C (4 Coca-Colas and two chocolate bars), the waitress was a little impertinent, it took them a long time to bring us the drink and I asked her if she could bring it to us, please, We were very thirsty, and it was a bit rough. After that question, a comment was made with another diner (in French) as if laughing at my question or judging it, I suppose.
But well, then inside there is a waiter who speaks Spanish who was very friendly and refilled our water to continue.
It doesn't take 10 minutes to serve a Coca-Cola, that's the only criticism I can make.

28/08/2023: Very pleasant restaurant in a remote corner of the mountain. Nice little terrace with a beautiful view! The dishes are plentiful but there is always room for dessert. Affordable price and the service is much friendlier and faster than at Gros Caillou! The dishes are really very good!
20/08/2023: Reception and service by appointment, however we will have to review the cooking of the duck breast: ask for pink cooking, but when chewing it was rubbery (probably due to pre-cooking because the service was very, very fast). The accompaniment was rather bland fries, but contrary to some comments, not everything is "homemade" but some products are frozen...
As for the burger, what can I say: tasteless
We relied on the 41 reviews on Google but unfortunately it was a disappointment for us.
The setting is certainly nice, but what is on the plate is more important.

02/04/2024: After 9 years, I have never been served so poorly. Apparently counting the cheese croquettes and calamari is too difficult, let alone correcting their mistakes. Placed an order for 40 cheese croquettes and 27 cheese croquettes will be delivered. You pay for food that you cannot serve. You do not communicate that this has run out and silently serve too little food. (when there is a complaint, you go on the attack)
We pushed for fair service. That turns out not to be possible. Shame!
This just shows how you communicate unfriendly.
01/04/2024: Busy, unpleasant terrace, only 1 person to serve during busy holiday periods. It's a bit small, a person can't be everywhere.

23/03/2024: We booked a fondue evening on Friday evening. Everything was great, the transport to the restaurant, the welcome, the atmosphere (choice of music). The boss is super nice and attentive. The attentive waitress. The excellent and copious fondue as well as the desserts. We recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner. Thank you for this exceptional moment!
