31/03/2024: The tone is already set on the phone at the time of booking: no details on the mandatory Easter menu... but hey, maybe it's a good surprise. Then the slate at the entrance announces the color again: “bistronomic restaurant and creperie”…the two names will be flouted after experience. Past the cheap furniture, but that's all a question of taste, the time to sit down at the table arrives. First the wine list: all glasses of wine for €10…no domain name, year, nothing…only appellations! Either the sommelier only offers great wines that are all worth this fairly substantial price, or he doesn't know that now it is possible to offer great wines, even natural or organic, at a very reasonable price even after applying the margin... Then there is the Lyonnais pot wine: white, red or rosé. Here again, €8 for a glass of wine or €18 for a 50 cl Lyonnais pot; let's hope it's a good surprise... it's not because the rosé (it's not real wine but there are good ones) ordered, even if it's subjective, is not good... especially when the waitress makes a mistake and sells it to be a Côte de Provence, but that can happen, nothing personal against her. On the other hand, the color of the rosé is unmistakable, nor its origin: Côte de Ventoux in a cardboard bib. Not the best Ventoux either, but bingo in terms of margin! Let's discover the tempting menu with great promises: perfect egg, sweetbreads, espuma... let's skip the details but remember the essential, that is to say a lot of sauce everywhere (a bad sign in principle), even on the soft-boiled egg, sorry (im)perfect, so on sweetbreads, espuma and even on chopped steak (overcooked) for children….the desserts are industrial, like the liquid caramel and the custard which sprinkles them. Finally, the lady at the checkout pretends to have a broken credit card machine in order to be paid in cash...this again, can be understood with the significant costs inherent in catering! But when the customer finds herself annoyed at not having cash, the machine miraculously works again...the (pigeon) loop is closed. In short, dear Yves Camdeborde, father of bistronomy, we leave saddened for you to see your noble epicurean neologism used by unscrupulous tourist traps who are far from questioning themselves unfortunately... La Bouille looks bad.

06/03/2024: We return to this establishment for a relaxing evening and night. A pleasant welcome by all the staff. A room still in the period but with everything you need. A view of the Seine that we wanted for our stay. A pleasure to see the river from the room in the evening and in the morning. The bedding is very pleasant. We discovered new dishes at the hotel restaurant: La Table d'Hector. The presentation, the taste, the freshness, allow you to have dishes that are very pleasant in the mouth. A hearty breakfast and again with flavors with lots of fresh homemade products: yogurt, cakes,... Do not hesitate to ask for advice on choosing the wine to accompany your dishes. We recommend

02/11/2023: First room n*35 small and very old, dirty (hair, cobwebs) change of room n*42 larger with view of the Seine, but also cobwebs accompanied by midges poor quality bedding and the surprise of morning no hot water. Only the evening restaurant was satisfactory conclusion price too expensive €110 for such a service

22/03/2024: Expensive dishes for ordinary cuisine without frills. The boss is barely friendly (a smile costs nothing). Smiling and friendly waitress. 50€ per person for a snack kitchen.
