Travelling down to the south of France over night in Rouen, Restaurant Les Capucines popped up on the radar as a potential 'good eats' venue. Advertised as a family restaurant, we received a warm welcome to a spacious dining area, slightly dated, but with a pleasant ambiance. Various options for 'le menu' that offered good value. Limited menu of seasonal selections (good, good), well prepared & presented, and most important, lovely flavours!
If you are passing though, definitely worth a visit.

A friendly and quiet atmosphere. A nicely arranged and very clean setting 👌 and to round it all off, great attention to the hosts 🙏 especially if it's your birthday.
We will come back for sure 👍

07/03/2024: A very nice brasserie with a very original decor bringing together many photos from cult films, Uncle Gunslingers, the 7th Company among others.
The food is good and the atmosphere too.
21/02/2024: Small brasserie with fresh products and simple, hearty dishes. The formulas are very affordable and it is very good value for money.
I will go back there!.
