11/03/2024: Our children discovered this restaurant by chance during a walk in La Croix Valmer. We went back together this Sunday. Everything was perfect. The most friendly welcome, direct view of the rough sea but sheltered from the wind, home cooking full of flavors, well seasoned and top desserts! We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this place.👍

01/04/2024: On a rainy and cold Easter Sunday it was a joy to enter the cosy restaurant. Our table was directly next to the fireplace. Being welcomed by the owner and having a perfect service throughout our entire meal raised our expectations. We enjoyed salmon served cold with guacamole and a lamb Wellington dish with mixed vegetable and roasted potatoes with a special sauce. Delicious! So was the popcorn desert. Prices are on the upper side but justified by the quality (and the region). The digestive was on the house. This was the first time we visited Le Refuge in 39! years...but certainly not the last.
27/03/2024: The restaurant offers remarkable cuisine from every point of view. Friendly welcome, beautiful decor, super friendly bartender. Zero flaws. Whether for dinner or a garnished aperitif, we are always delighted! Congratulations to the cook!

01/04/2024: Great food, probably the biggest serving of moules I have ever had, and the steak was very tender, friendly and efficient staff
Wonderful view being right on the beach
Only downside, the house wine is over priced
31/03/2024: We visited this restaurant twice in March and both times the food was good and the service excellent.
It is right on the beach, with a large (public) car park behind, so great for watching the kite surfers while you eat.

03/04/2024: I have been ordering from Pizzburger for a year and a half and I can tell you that it is the best “fast food” in the Gulf.
Their tenders by 4 are very good and the breadcrumbs are quality, it’s a 10/10
The burgers are very fatty and generous.
You can really taste the meat.
The bread doesn't take over everything nor the topping
And the pizzas, I only order the Regina but I recommend it, the dough is neither thin nor thick, it's somewhere in between, the taste of ham is present and the slices are also generous.

The pizza (22) was divine!!!
The paella was good, but nothing more.
The prices are very reasonable.

20/10/2023: Unfortunately it was already closed for the winter, although Google doesn't want to believe that. There is no information about the closure from the owner on the Internet; only a sign at the entrance provides information
01/10/2023: A nice setting, we already ate there a few years ago, we had good memories of it. So we went back and we were disappointed two of our friends had the filet mignon much overcooked the sauce way too much liquid and bland potatoes. For my part I had the dish of the day which was a pan of fish accompanied by pasta but too much pasta and not enough shellfish. Bad value for money this year
