with excellent classic French cuisine. Unfortunately, the wines are all too expensive.
12/11/2023: Looking for a special place for a sixtieth birthday, I found Arome on the Michelin Guide thinking of selecting a starred one. I ended up choosing the Arome which has nothing to envy of the starred ones.
Perfect.
Jean Michel and Clara very kindly agreed to step out of the box by concocting a tasting menu for a special date for my wife and myself. THANKS.
The white wine recommended by Clara was in perfect harmony with the first 2 courses.
The red a little less on the excellent, the extraordinary specialty of Jean Michel - Le Porc Noir 8h.
Thank you both for this sublime moment. Also thank your very friendly and smiling waiter.

05/11/2023: Just wow. The hotel on top of a hill has magical views over the valley and lush gardens. The food and service were impeccable. Do try the truffle pizza - to be honest, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Our waiter was super friendly and recommended a great bottle of wine + of course a digestif for after dinner. I will definitely go back!
30/09/2023: Recently stayed 5 nights at Capelongue with my partner during a 2 week trip to Europe. We absolutely loved Capelongue, the staff was incredibly friendly, the hotel and rooms were clean and modern. It was a perfect getaway for some quiet time by the pool and exploring some of the neighboring towns (short walk to Bonnieux will incredibly scenic views and amazing architecture). I cannot recommend this hotel enough, can’t wait to go back in the future!

27/03/2024: You will not have a better quintessential French bistro dining experience than this. It seems the chef here really cares about what he/she’s serving up. I had the duck burger, and it was utterly succulent and so satisfying. Steak tartare is classic and of course you have to have fries. In housemaid desserts are a must have. This is not a place to watch your calories, Amazing views from terrace. Hey the locals eat here so that’s telling you something , right?

The change of ownership is clearly visible, the pizzas were delicious (the quality is much better)
Concerning the service, it's a shame that it's so simple, we arrive, we're told to sit wherever we want, without accompanying us, we are given laminated cards which fly away with the wind (the story of QR codes among the former owners). been better it doesn't fly away 😉) when the waiter we are just asked the simple question "what would you like to eat" not "would you like to have an aperitif or drink something or would you like a dessert or a coffee" (at the end meal )” too bad about that….
14/04/2024: Impeccable and responsive service. The view is always magnificent, we had a very pleasant time. The boss is very friendly!!. We'll come back.

15/08/2023: Beeindruckendes Ambiente. Das Dinner wurde im parkartigen Garten, mit Blick auf Bonnieux, serviert. Begeisternde provenzialisch-mediterrane Küche mit schönen Überraschungen. Dazu von der Someliere Mme Laurène perfekt ausgewählte Weine. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und kompetent. Ein rundum gelungener Abend.
