Everything was perfect …. The 6 guests we were with were unanimous. Warm welcome, wise advice, particularly well-selected wines, refined and well-crafted dishes...inventive cuisine right down to the processed cheese... in short, an address to recommend.

We took the “express menu” for 25€, a great discovery, flavors, fresh and seasonal products, and also very good doses for a menu. I highly recommend 😄 and obviously the establishment and the staff are top notch 👌

Charming place with very good products. Revisited dishes with beautiful presentations. Pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is just a little too serious and we clearly understood the displeasure of the waiters and other customers every time we laughed. Apart from that, I recommend for discovering new flavors

A Feast of the Senses at the Corner of the Halls When I invited Catherine to dinner at “Coin des Halls”, a haven of flavors in the heart of Langeais, I knew we were going to have a memorable culinary experience. As soon as we arrived, the warm welcome and attentive service promised an enchanted evening. To start, Catherine chooses a starter of pan-fried scallops, swimming in a velouté of peas, decorated with flower petals. The dish, a symphony of colors, offered a bouquet of fresh and marine flavors, a caress for the senses. For my part, I opted for a homemade foie gras terrine, topped with fig chutney, a composition of shimmering hues and contrasting textures, a real taste journey. To accompany these delights, an exceptional Chinon. The wine, deep red, in finely crafted glasses, revealed aromas of ripe fruit and sweet spices, an elixir that went perfectly with our starters. The main course was another chapter in this culinary adventure. Catherine delighted in a sea bass fillet with crispy skin, accompanied by roasted seasonal vegetables, a dish vibrant with freshness and iodized flavors. For my part, an herb-crusted rack of lamb, served with a creamy parsnip puree, offered a striking contrast between the tenderness of the meat and the richness of the herbs. Each bite was a poem for the palate, an ode to local products. In this atmosphere bathed in soft, nostalgic music, I immortalized this moment by drawing Catherine's portrait, capturing her smile illuminated by the subdued light. For dessert, we let ourselves be tempted by exquisite creations. Catherine savored a dark chocolate fondant, a center flowing with caramel, a harmony between bitterness and sweet sweetness. For my part, a revisited apple pie, where the finesse of the apple slices mingled with homemade vanilla ice cream, offered an explosion of autumnal flavors. As I left, in the euphoria of this memorable evening, I forgot my drawing pad and my pencil. A forgotten memory, certainly, but not regretted. We knew, Catherine and I, that we would return to this haven of taste pleasures, where each dish tells a story and each moment is etched in the memory.

Très bon restaurant, les plats sont bons quelques fautes notes pour moi par exemple les lardons dans les escargots avec son risotto, celà reste perso, histoire de goût.

19/05/2024: A true delight ! We were very well received in this establishment, the dishes are fine and delicious, the service is fast and done with a smile. This address is worth the detour.
06/05/2024: Excellent cuisine with homemade fries. Everything is fresh and very well cooked. Very friendly waitress. It is better to book or arrive at 12 p.m. as this restaurant is very popular with locals. A very nice discovery.

16/05/2024: Crêperie bonne mais sans plus. Les frites n’étaient pas bonnes du tout. Les galettes sales que nous avons composées nous même n’étaient pas ouf. Les desserts ça va. Le service est spécial avec des oreillettes sur chaque employé alors que nous n’étions pas nombreux à manger ce jour là. Très special bref je vous recommande tout de même
