Auberge de la Retelere sur La Bresse

Very cozy restaurant, but located lost in the heights, the landscape is magnificent but the road to get there as well as the parking are a disaster to completely review. The meal was very good, nothing to say on this point. Well done to the chef. The only downside is that dogs are accepted. I have nothing against dogs. I have one at home, a Beauceron. It could even be a positive point because it is rare to have restaurants that accept our furball friends. But out of 4 dogs, there is a herdsman who barks all the time for nothing, no thanks, we come and eat in peace and the owners have not managed to channel their dog. Personally, when you know that you have a barking dog, you don't take it with you, it's called RESPECT for others. But hey, they had enough to do with spanking his mistress and laughing at him for nothing. That was the only negative point about our meal there. This dog had no place here while the other 3 dogs were adorable.

Very beautiful setting Quality products Very fair prices

Small inn which offers typical regional dishes with local products. In a large, warm common room. The welcome is with a big smile and full of kindness. The staff is very helpful. I recommend this inn to enjoy the warmth of Vosges dishes and the welcome of these locals.

We had dinner during a weekend in Bresse, we had a great time, everything was very good from the aperitif board to the dessert, including the home-brewed beer. Go there with your eyes closed 👌🏻

Food was delicious! We were so lucky that the restaurant wasnt very busy But the hostess really treated us amazing! She was kind, gave us extra food when needed and even adjusted the menu to accommodate us If you are ever in La Bresse, this is the one to visit!!
