An Inn that I recommend with firm eyes, products from the region, a nice setting and as well as the owner. You can also eat on a small outdoor terrace facing the stream. A pleasure.

Great welcome from the boss. Excellent meal, be careful, the quantities are gargantuan. Onion soup and roasted Camembert, I couldn't finish the Camembert.... Fresh home-cooked products, everything was delicious. The proximity of the Orbiel on the other side of the street is a plus for the quality of the setting. I'll be back.

If you go to Lastours to visit the castles, after two hours of more or less sporty walking, go and recharge your batteries at the Auberge de l'Orbiel. Welcome, friendliness and professionalism are essential in this establishment. You are well received, you are taken care of and the bosses are keen to satisfy you. The dishes are good and plentiful for good value for money. Making reservations is recommended. I recommand it.

Arrêt ce midi dans cette petite auberge de village. Accueil très sympathique et de bons conseils sur le vin mais aussi les visites à faire à proximité. Le cassoulet est fait maison et avec amour !

L'un des seuls restaurants ouverts... une belle surprise Un couple attentionné qui s'occupe à merveille de ses clients. Un cassoulet fait maison tellement succulent.... c'est mon mari qui l'a commandé, il en restait un bag et le soir je me suis régalée...

L'Auberge du Thym

17/11/2023: We visited the castles of Lastours, on this November day it was the only restaurant open. Contrary to the various particularly harsh opinions, the welcome was pleasant, the service fast, the meal very good for a very reasonable price. The only downside is the quantities of food, which are a little light.
12/11/2023: A very beautiful culinary stopover at the foot of the castles. One. Unique menu with a thousand and one flavors. Pleasant setting and impeccable service. A must-see place
