Although we arrived late (2 p.m.) we were very well received and enjoyed simple but tasty cuisine. Everyone is very friendly and caring. We appreciated the boss's advice for visiting the village and its surroundings. Above all, don't change anything and we will come back!!🤩

A fantastic place to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. Fantastic service, always nice and fast. Even if you go there every day it is still fun. A very nice owner and a fantastic chef.

Non seulement nous avons très bien mangé, mais le patron et le serveur sont vraiment adorables... Nous avons apprécié le digestif offert. Nous reviendrons !

Or how to beat yourself up with dignity while crossing the Mercentour on foot! An incredible welcome, the staff was great, and the food was excellent!! Thanks to them, I recommend with my eyes closed 👌🏼 (PS: my visit was in August 2023, I am posting this review very late)

Chance led us to the central bar where we were welcomed by Charly 👍🏻 We had a good time in the heart of the establishment; animated as announced upon our arrival! Excellent value for money and special mention to the warm service with advice for discovering Sospel.

I could give a sixth star for service! Even got insight on the history of Sospel and recommendations to visit. Food was excellent, try the grilled porchetta and the homemade tiramisu 🤌🏽

A wonderful little bar restaurant. Despite being extremely busy with locals at lunchtime, the staff were very friendly and welcoming to us. The formule midi/plat du jour food (and wine) was delicious and very reasonably priced (particularly compared to Nice) A highlight of a lovely brief visit to Sospel

Le Bar de Rome

20/10/2023: Excellent handmade pasta, one with fresh ceps and one with daube. Nice rare steaks and juicy veal Milanese with tasty fries and green beans. The space is humble but the chef knows his way around the kitchen.
17/09/2023: Kitchen not tested. Only the bar. Well located, fast and efficient service. I recommend the bar.

12/05/2024: Very good dishes. We had fresh salad and octopus salad. A delight. As an aperitif, 1 local beer accompanied by socca The staff is welcoming and responsive. I recommend without hesitation.
08/05/2024: From starter to dessert it was great!
