Cafe de la Mairie Restaurant Menton sur Menton

I've been meaning to do a review of this place in Menton for a long time and now the time has come. Today we tried the menu of the day which consisted of two large skewers with three meats, Provençal tomatoes and a baked vegetable and legume terrine with a cheese crust, a dessert of your choice, we took the pear and chocolate cake and coffee , drinks separately. Given that it is not a restaurant but a delicatessen/winery (actually I don't know how to describe it correctly in Italian) so there are not a great variety of dishes but, what they offer, in my opinion, is really good and well done. The price is appropriate for the place, remembering that Menton is a tourist and seaside town. Normally I would have given 4 stars but the courtesy, kindness, empathy between staff and customers made the difference and they deserve the 5th star! I'm posting a photo of today's dish 04/25/24 We will be back soon for an aperitif and/or lunch.

Nice bistro, friendly staff and great service. The large oysters, very fresh and delicious. We will definitely return when we are in Menton
