I had lunch this afternoon at buci and I have rarely had such a warm welcome. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast and flawless. The waiters always have a smile which is rare for Parisians... But the strong point of this place remains the meal which was excellent. Finally a place where “homemade” really means something.

Very nice restaurant! There is a lot of traffic and atmosphere! The servers are friendly. And above all it’s very good!! Plus, they serve late. Useful after a show or a movie.

Love this place. We will never forget the lovely time we had a Buci. It was our first time in Paris and just off the plane. Our waiter welcomed us and served us a delicious, hot cappuccino right away. We shared a Caesar salad and a traditional onion soup and we’re not disappointed. The neighborhood was young, hip, boisterous and Buci was a terrific spot to watch the world go by. We hope to go back one day♥️

When we see the prices (more than €6 for a coke) we expect to at least have pleasant waiters, but no!

The food (steak au poivres) was only OK. The menus online were out of date, and those provided in the restaurant should probably be replaced, held together with tape. The restaurant wasn't that busy, compared to other restaurants in the area. They initially took our drink orders and the menus, had to ask for them back again -- maybe they thought we were just there for drinks? On a nicer day, it might be a good place to sit outside and watch the crowds.

Had an early dinner here and so glad we did. The boef bourguignon was so yummy! Tender and it had 3 large portions of beef, tender carrots and potatoes and a good broth. The fish and chips and burger were good as well. Our waiter was really nice. Glad we decided to eat here 😀

Perfect spot to finish a night in Paris with cocktails either inside or outside. Pricing is slightly expensive but worth it.

24/05/2024: The food was not fantastic, but it was fine for the price. I had a big tasty sandwich and lots of chicken. Very nice waitresses. Everything was served very quickly.
23/05/2024: Very good prices for the drinks. However, not quite as friendly and fast staff. Took quite a long time for a few drinks.

26/12/2023: Very good address for wine and aperitif dinners. Fair price and great atmosphere. Communicative and friendly boss and team. Room at the back, try to enter.
06/10/2023: Very welcoming wine bar, near Montparnasse train station and Boulevard Pasteur. The terrace overlooks a busy but moderately noisy street. Inside, a few tables ideal for an evening with friends or one-on-one ;-) Friendly and caring boss, and young, dynamic and pleasant staff. A great discovery, we’ll come back!
