I loved this Bouchon, very authentic with a good atmosphere, we had a good time with friends. The dishes are hearty and delicious. We ate the dumplings and the brioche sausage, so good! The praline tart is a treat.

Wanting a little stopover with the family, our choice fell on Hugon, which I didn't know. It was a good thing for us: whether it was the location, the welcome, the atmosphere and the food, everything was perfect 🤩😋 and like any real stopper, the toilets are in the backyard of a building outside the restaurant 😉 Be careful, the room is very small, so I advise you to book!

The Bouchon Hugon was a chance find, luckily we got a place for 2. The kitchen closes at 9 p.m. - make a reservation urgently. We arrived in a good mood and left happy. Everything was just right - the classic, simple atmosphere, the great young woman who was incredibly competent, efficient and very NICE, the service and of course the very tasty, authentic dishes. The 3-course menu with 6-8 choices per course cost 32 euros, completely reasonable. We found the wine expensive - glass from €6, 1/4 from €11. Be that as it may - it's definitely worth it. Absolute recommendation!

good cork, however the wine in a jar was undrinkable. Be careful 32 euros plus wine....40 euros or more. It's starting to get expensive

Great, I came with friends and we had a great time, the two ladies who run this restaurant are sweethearts! I recommend !!! And Canut’s brains… nugget! Not to mention the dumplings!!

I didn't expect such a small restaurant to hide such great dishes. Everything was excellent. I took the rillettes de boeuf as appetizers, The quenelles de brochet as a main dish (and the sauce was just sublime) And the cervelle de canut as dessert. (A wonderful cheese spread) I highly recommend

Five years on and still remember this place as a great experience. Don't expect a five star restaurant - there's not much service and certainly little ceremony. But something even better and more rare imo - fresh-cooked food using traditional, simple menus at a very affordable price. What I remember above all was regretting being too full to sample more. Best go early and with a good, easy going group. 👌

02/04/2024: Exceptional! Do not trust negative reviews which only reflect overly personal experiences. We went there on Sunday March 31 at the end of the service, we were welcomed "like at home" as if we were regulars, the owners Nanou and Franck were fond of us, the retro atmosphere of the place and the music took us on a journey, far from the Lounge Chillout music that we are used to listening to. The dishes offered are authentic from a real "Bouchon Lyonnais", they were well served and very good. They accompanied us throughout the meal, and were attentive to us. We will definitely come back there during our next stay in Lyon to introduce our friends to this place and thank Nanou and Franck very warmly again for this time with them.
01/04/2024: Easter week end. We were looking for a restaurant after 10 p.m..... Not easy. However, Nanou and Franck welcomed us with open arms. What a great idea. Charming, super friendly and welcoming people. Be careful, place reserved for bon vivants!!! Here, we eat well (healthy enthusiasts, go your way), we drink well, we have fun, we chat, we meet new people... All this in an atmosphere like at home. Thank you Nanou for saving us from the waters and making us so warmly welcome, thank you Franck for the delicious cuisine. Stay as you are, real people. We love it and recommend +++!!!

27/05/2024: Excellent ! The only downside is that the restaurant is closed on weekends.
26/04/2024: Excellent evening spent in this restaurant which will soon change its name to be taken over by the second kitchen. The service is friendly, the portions well adapted and the cuisine very tasty, for impeccable value for money.
