Traditional but good cuisine. Unfortunately last meal average. A failed vinegared foie gras not good ❓a very average tarte tatin 🤔not worthy of French gastronomy too bad.

For the classic French food lover, this will hit the spot: boeuf bourguignon, escargot, foie gras - you name it. Additional good sign for authenticity is the lack of English language skills and the very extensive wine list. Yet, if you look around, you will find obviously find better tasting food and spots with a nicer outdoor area, the service could be a bit more attentive. I would not necessarily go again, but that’s due to the high competition and so many other places where - if this is the first time you go to this city - you will experience more of that French charming character you might have been dreaming about.

We wanted to eat some traditional french dishes, and Chez Monsieur was not far from where we stayed, so we went there for a lunch and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made! We ordered escargot, foie gras, blanquette de veau and bœuf bourgignon. Everything was beyond excellent! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. All in all it was one of the highlight of our trip. I will return for sure!

The onion soup and french fries were the best ever, and the steak was good as well. The employees were well trained, so polite and kind to me.

A cheerful restaurant with a nice feel to it. We were greeted and seated promptly and service was very attentive. The food was good and prices reasonable. My criticism would be the pace of the meal. We were dining at 8pm and it felt like we were in a rush. The waiter hovered as we finished each course and the generous and frequent pouring of wine was clearly intended to get it finished. It was a good meal but a little rushed.

Charming bistro- as soon as we entered, we felt the good vibes! Excellent friendly service and great food. Tables well spaced from each other. Clearly a popular local place. Guests deeply engaged in positive conversations. We enjoyed the meal. Amazing snails, their sea bass is fresh, delightfully pan fried with a light crispy skin. The veal stew was not our cup of tea- dry n tough.

22/02/2024: A Parisian story...a real bistro as we like it. From the little cream to the end-of-day drink, including the dish of the day...we love coming back. I recommend especially for the personalized welcome.
