Next to a small hairdressing salon run by the friendly Chantal and opposite the succulent Lebrun rotisserie, this little Provençal civet that Marcel would have loved... Pagnol! A friendly boss sits in this tobacco bar which is in its juice. Outside seated behind the tables where one takes his little black or his little yellow, depending on the time, the eternal regulars are remaking the world or skimming the mini papers of the local duck. All that's missing is Raimu for his card game. A nice and friendly place, very...vintage!!!

08/03/2024: Restaurant with very warm charm and decoration. What a disappointment in the service, more particularly that of the owner (I suppose) and the wait to be served. 5 of us arrived around 12:30 p.m., quickly took an order for a drink and a dish per person, we were not served until 1:40 p.m. When we went to pay, still a long wait. Anyway, after a coffee we finally left the table at 2:30 p.m. So 2 hours for a meal and a coffee. I would like to point out that the food there was very good. Finally, always the same manager who was annoyed that we wanted to pay separately, and who made it clear to us. According to the waitress, they were surprised by the service with one less person in the kitchen.

Excellent meal once again and great time ❤️ Superb and superb restaurant where we take great pleasure in coming very regularly! Magnificent setting and attentive staff mean that we come back very often. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and kindness! See you soon 👍🏻

Le Lido

10/03/2024: There are places where a temporal parenthesis opens... this was the case last night at the Lido in Toulon. Arrived around 7:30 p.m., a little early than my reservation time (8:00 p.m.). The restaurant was empty and found myself with the great team of waiters (se/Assa) getting ready for service. I was going to come out for a few minutes to give them time to get back to their evening, but they insisted that I take a seat next to them and we got to know each other. Truly passionate about their work, with kindness and benevolence under all circumstances. Thanks to Assa, Franck and the others for this welcome and for the rest of the evening which was exceptional. The dishes are fine, very well presented and of great flavor. I was accompanied by a friend and throughout the meal there was never a lack of attention. I go out a lot, I often go to restaurants but it is exceptional to have been welcomed this way!!! I will return there, recommend it and again THANK YOU to the entire Lido de Toulon team for this temporary break which is so rare these days. Lawrence.
